Vivo X80 series includes X80, X80 Pro, X80 Pro Tianji 9000 edition of three models. Among them, vivo X80 is equipped with mediaTek Tianji 9000 flagship platform, and vivo X80 Pro provides MediaTek Tianji 9000 and a new generation of Snapdragon 8 two flagship platform versions. The X80 series is fully adapted to flagship configurations such as self-developed chip V1+, Samsung E5 AMOLED super sensitive screen, dual-cell 80W wired flash charge and so on.

In the past ten years, vivo has adhered to independent research and development on the four long tracks of design, imaging, system and performance, and continuously improved chip research and development and industrial technology coordination capabilities through in-depth cooperation with chip companies.
In 2021, the vivo X70 series is equipped with self-developed image chip V1, creating a precedent of "dual core". This year, the X80 series is equipped with a self-developed chip V1+ that leads the second-generation dual-core flagship standard, taking into account the two major functions of image and performance, not only allowing the image function to evolve again, but also applying computing power breakthroughs in the field of performance and display, bringing a more powerful game experience.
With the compatibility of the self-developed chip V1+, vivo X80 series realizes the multi-platform dual-core adaptation of all models. Through the dual core of V1+ and SoC, the full energy and potential of SoC are stimulated.
The soft and hard core imaging system has been fully upgraded
Vivo X series is positioned as the flagship of professional imaging, vivo X80 series through continuous upgrading of optics, image algorithms and self-developed chip V1+ blessing, so that the image effect to a new height.
In terms of hardware, the vivo X80 series has reached the ZEISS T* coating standard. The X80 Pro adopts ultra-low anti-ultra-hard AR coating and ultra-low dispersion high-lens lens, and customizes the 1/1.3-inch GNV ultra-large bottom sensor to obtain a purer picture; the X80 debuts the Sony IMX866 RGBW outsole sensor to further enhance the light sensitivity. Combined with the super computing power of the self-developed chip V1+, the night scene preview effect of the vivo X80 series main camera is comparable to that of the low-light night vision instrument, and the ultra-wide-angle lens and the front lens can realize the real-time black light night vision function, further breaking through the bottleneck and limitation of night scene creation. After years of accumulation, vivo has now created a set of full-scene image algorithm matrix. From night HDR to professional portraits, from urban close-ups, color expression to motion capture, vivo X series will repeatedly expand the sphere of influence of mobile images, and spawn a series of deep image algorithms such as RAWHDR, micro-nano skin shaping, AI portrait enhancement, adaptive motion exposure control, intelligent color restoration, and full-link color management, which comprehensively meet the shooting needs of users in all scenes and all periods.
In addition, vivo X80 Pro became the first Android model to support XDR Photo technology. It is worth mentioning that in the vivo X80 series, vivo and the Tianji platform have carried out the tuning cooperation of self-developed chips for the first time. To this end, the two sides have drawn more than 300 technical elites, and after nearly a year of hard work, they have greatly innovated the software channel architecture and successfully adjusted the self-developed chip V1+ and Tianji 9000. On this basis, vivo X80 series launched GPU Fusion technology, through multi-chip collaboration to share GPU load, through intelligent identification of game screen scene dynamic allocation of resources, so as to better solve the problems of high power consumption, high heat caused by performance degradation, balance performance and power consumption, with 120fps dual core superframe and HDR unique ultra-clear technology, to ensure the game's frame stabilization experience.
Full lifting cup beyond positioning
Different from the industry's common "medium cup, large cup, super cup" product portfolio strategy, as the flagship model of the X series, the vivo X80 and vivo X80 Pro released this time bring about the configuration upgrade of the "full series of liter cups".
Among them, vivo X80 Pro positions the image flagship, continuing the reputation of the X series professional image flagship; vivo X80 focuses on creating a "performance flagship" image, and the image is also blessed by ZEISS T* optical lens, color and image algorithm.
As we all know, heat dissipation performance is closely related to product performance, especially for flagship models such as the X80 series. To this end, the X80 series adopts a large area of VC liquid-cooled vapor heating plate that effectively solves the heat dissipation problem, and is equipped with a single-piece VC vaporizer with a larger area in the X80 body, and the temperature control performance is comparable to many professional e-sports models.
In terms of battery life, the X80 series adopts dual-cell 80W wired flash charge, and X80 Pro is also equipped with an additional dual-cell 50W wireless flash charge, which has lower heat and more durable speed charging. Test data show that the X80 equipped with dual-cell 80W wired flash charge can be charged from 0% to 50% in 11 minutes and can be fully charged in 34 minutes, while the X80 Pro with larger battery capacity can be charged from 0% to 50% in 13 minutes and can be fully charged in 38 minutes. While the charging speed is comprehensively improved, vivo X80 series has obtained the German Rheinland safety certification, which is more stable, safer and more efficient, and solves the power anxiety in an all-round way.
In terms of screen, the vivo X80 series adopts Samsung E5 screen. On this basis, X80 Pro is equipped with a 6.78-inch 2K E5 super-sensitive free screen, with a local peak brightness of 1500nit, supports LTPO free frame rate, reduces screen power consumption through intelligent frequency conversion, and improves the fluency of dynamic display.

The X80 series launched this time includes three colors: journey, holiday, and black. In terms of price, vivo X80 8GB+128GB version, 8GB+256GB version, 12GB+256GB version and 12GB+512GB version are priced at 3699 yuan, 3999 yuan, 4399 yuan and 4899 yuan, respectively. Vivo X80 Pro 8GB+256GB version, 12GB+256GB version and 12GB+512GB version are priced at 5499 yuan, 5999 yuan and 6699 yuan respectively.
At the press conference, Vivo also simultaneously released the vivo S series of new vivo S15e, equipped with vivo's exclusive customized high-end chips Exynos 1080, 66W flash charge and 4700mAh large battery, 8GB +128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB version price of 1999 yuan, 2299 yuan, 2499 yuan respectively.
