It is estimated that many small partners have noticed that Kiso Yoshinaka has always been accompanied by a majestic woman. It is not good-looking, but it is heroic, especially the domineering eyebrows, which are impressive. In the play, Kiso Yoshinaka introduced that he was a military general under him, named Ba Yu Mae, who was his partner from childhood to adulthood, Aome Takema. That being said, where is there such a pure friendship between a man and a woman? I always feel that the relationship between these two people is ambiguous.

Former AKB48 member Akimoto Tseresa played Ba Yu mae

In episode 16, Kiso Yoshinaka is attacked by Kamakura and intends to withdraw from Kyoto to Hokuriku. However, on the way, he was blocked by kamakura's army, and Kiso Yoshinaka received a box lunch, and Ba Yumae was also captured by Wada Yoshimori. Looking at this trend, she should continue to have her role. Hetian was a big old man, and in the capital, he was unscrupulous in front of the female officials in the palace, disgusted with the wife of the chaff in the family, and wanted to take a few beijing women back to be wives. When he caught Ba Yuqian, he also had a lewd face, and he couldn't help but let people pinch a handful of sweat for Ba Yuqian. So, what kind of person is this mysterious warrior girl? And what kind of life?

Watching Japanese historical dramas, you can always see women named XX Gozen, such as Ba Mizen, Shizumi Gozen, Bane-eun Gozen, etc. What does this "Mizen" mean? In fact, this is an honorific for women. Of course, honorifics are not used for all women, and in general, only the honorifics of "Gozen" are used for women of noble birth. Japan's honorific system is very complex, in addition to "Gozen", there are also honorific titles for women such as "Hime", "Fang", "Bureau", etc., and so on. Therefore, "Ba Yu Mae" means a noble woman named "Ba".

Kiso Yoshinaka and Ba Gozen

In fact, it is doubtful whether Ba Yu mae is a real historical figure. For her account, it is generally from two books- "The Tale of Pingjia" and "The Rise and Fall of Yuanping", and these two are both military records and belong to the category of creative novels. The Azuma Mirror and other historical books, which record historical facts of the Kamakura period in the Masao Eight Classics, do not have any information about this person. Therefore, one has to suspect that Ba Yu mae was just a fabricated figure that did not exist in history.

CP is in the same box

Of course, whether history is real or not, we don't care anymore, what is important is that we know that there is such a person in the play, and the appearance is extraordinary, with a little aura, compared to the heroine Yae, with a richer personality, it is inevitable that people will be worried about her subsequent encounters.

Fight

In the play, although Kiso Yoshinaka only said that he and Ba Yumae were partners and superiors and subordinates, in fact, the two were described as a pair of CPs. Ba Yu Mae was actually a concubine of Kiso Yoshinaka. It's just that people are strong in martial arts, and they are a strange woman who does not let her eyebrows be shaved. In "The Tale of the Ping Family", Ba Yu mae and Kiso Four Heavenly Kings fight against the Hira clan, good at bowing and arrowing, with infinite strength and the courage to ride a thousand. At the same time, the skin is white and beautiful, with beautiful hair and a pleasant face. After Kiso's army was defeated at the Battle of Ujigawa, he fled in a hurry, and he said to Ba Yumae, "I'm afraid that time is running out, you are a female stream, you should flee quickly." Ba Yuqian tried to persuade him again and again, and then he said, "Let me fight another battle for you." So he pushed the strong general Entian Shi, who was in pursuit, off his horse and cut off the head with a knife. After that, he removed his armor and retired from the stage of the novel.

Don't let the eyebrows be shaved

In the "Records of the Rise and Fall of Genpei", he was separated from Kiso Yoshinaka when he fled back to Hokuriku, and eventually Yoshinaka was killed and Ba Yuqian fled. He was later summoned to Kamakura by Genrai Dynasty, became the wife of Yoshimori Wada, and gave birth to a son, Asahina Yoshihide. After Wada Yoshimori was purged, he became a monk and accompanied the Green Lantern Ancient Buddha, and died at the age of 91. However, historians have verified that Wada Yoshimori's son, Asahina Yoshihide, was already 9 years old when he was crusading against Kiso Yoshinaka, so how could he have been the son of Yoshimori Wada and Ba Gozen? It seems that the play intends to promote the two of them into a pair according to the account of the "Records of the Rise and Fall of Genpei", and once again usher in the highlight during the War of Wada.

Although Ba Yu Mae is not necessarily a real historical figure, there are tombs in many parts of Japan. One of them is Yoshinaka-ji Temple, built in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, dedicated to Kiso Yoshinaka, not far from the tomb of Kiso Yoshinaka in the temple. According to the temple tradition, after the death of Yizhong, in order to mourn his deceased husband, Ba Yuqian lived in a nunnery next to the tomb of Yizhong, and was eventually buried here after his death, known as "Bazuka".

Yoshinaka-ji Temple in Ba Tsuka

There is no shortage of strong women in Japanese history. These figures include Ba Yu Mae, who killed the enemy in the army, Tachibana, a brother who accompanied the Japanese Takezun on the Eastern Crusade, the female lord Ini Naotoshi during the Sengoku period, and other strange women such as Masako Hojo, who sat in the rear and appeased the overall situation. What's more, they have distinct personalities, dare to love and hate, and such strong women are afraid that many men are willing to worship it.
