Xining, April 25 (People's Daily Online) Recently, photographers took photos in the Chaohaizi Wetland of Qilian Mountain National Park and recorded four national-level key protected wild animals - black storks, which sometimes look down to feed and sometimes spread their wings and fly. Black stork is a beautiful posture, bright body color, alert temperament of large waders, is one of the world's endangered birds, in China only more than 1,000, rare as the giant panda, so it is also known as "the giant panda in the bird".
The black stork has more stringent living requirements for the living environment, and the chaotic Haizi wetland in Qilian Mountain National Park has a beautiful environment, which provides good conditions for them to "take a nap" or summer weather. According to reports, this is the first time that the black stork has appeared in the Qilian Mountain area. Previously, black storks were found in xining Beichuanhe Wetland Park and Mutual Aid Nanmenxia area.
