April 23 is World Book Day, and a variety of themed activities have been carried out throughout the city. Among them, the World Book Day activity of "Reading and Conserving Civilization, Salty Infiltration of Life" jointly sponsored by Zigong Salt Industry History Museum, Zigong Museum, Zigong Radio and Television Station, and Da'an District Library was held at the Salt Industry History Museum.
At the event site, the Zigong Salt Industry History Museum and the Da'an District Library donated a wide variety of books to Xujia Village, Sandozhai Town, Da'an District, to help solve the problem of "difficult to buy, difficult to read, and difficult to use" for rural readers. Xie Jiaqi, first secretary of Xujia Village, Sandozhai Town, Da'an District, expressed her gratitude for the donation, believing that the book donation met the spiritual and cultural needs of the grass-roots masses, and it was necessary to manage and make good use of this batch of books, maximize their role, and help revitalize rural culture.
After the donation ceremony, activities such as reading sharing and guqin appreciation immersed the audience in the strong aroma of books.
