Quanzhou, China, April 23 (Wu Guanbiao) Bright and dripping sweet wood milk fruit, slender and cute finger lemon, fresh and elegant Taiwan perfume lotus... Walking into the characteristic agricultural base of the "post-80s" new farmer Monday Ping, you can smell the aroma of flowers and fruits. Monday Ping squatted by a fruit tree, pruning and pruning, and was very busy.

The young Monday Ping is a native of Hui'an, Quanzhou. Zhou Ping, who loved to deal with fruits from childhood, found that Taiwan's characteristic fruit industry has better varieties and technical advantages through multi-party learning and on-site inspection, and is expected to open up a market in his hometown Quanzhou, so he decided to return to his hometown to start a business.

For more than ten years, under the trend of cross-strait agricultural integration and development, Zhou Ping has introduced more than 300 kinds of high-quality fruit varieties from Taiwan with rich contacts and contacts; and has created a characteristic agricultural base in Quanzhou Quangang and Hui'an to promote agricultural planting technology and use scientific and technological guidance to help local fruit farmers get rich and revitalize.

"I grew up in the countryside and can appreciate the hardships of farmers, so I want to promote these good varieties, technologies and concepts so that more farmers can benefit." Monday Ping said that many farmers are still planting traditional agricultural crops, hard work and low income, and the development of specialty fruit industry will greatly improve the comprehensive benefits.

When it comes to rural revitalization, Monday Ping recalled his experience of helping difficult villagers get rid of poverty in Tuling Town, Quangang District, when he started his own business. At that time, there was a poor family named Cai Yuhua, her husband and children had lost their labor, and the whole family relied on her alone. We helped her plant two acres of dragon fruit and came to her from time to time to guide her in pest control. ”

In just two years, Cai Yuhua's two acres of thin fields have developed from planting traditional crops with few harvests to fertile land with abundant harvests. Monday Ping estimated that the two acres of land can produce nearly 8,000 catties of dragon fruit per year, which is expected to increase Cai Yuhua's income by 80,000 to 100,000 yuan.

This successful experience made Monday Ping firm in his determination to help farmers with science and technology. In the past two years, with the help of the Taiwan Farmer Entrepreneurship Park in Hui'an County, Zhou Ping returned to his hometown of Hui'an to build a new characteristic agricultural base, promote the fruit varieties and planting techniques imported from Taiwan, and help local farmers transform into riches.

Monday Ping introduced that this characteristic agricultural base is a continuation of the previous successful experience. Now that the infrastructure has been built, the next step will be to add more details and Taiwanese elements to create an idyllic scenery that can immerse people in it.

The sudden outbreak disrupted many of Zhou Ping's plans and visions. Under the influence of the local epidemic in Quanzhou in mid-March, the employment of special agricultural bases, customer exchange experiences, and new varieties of exhibitions were forced to stop. With the acceleration of the pace of resuming work and production, these days, Monday Ping quickly took action.

"It's the season for seedling sales, and just after resuming work in the past few days, some guests have stuffed a cart full of fruit seedlings to bring back." At the same time, after the resumption of work and production, Zhou Ping was also busy with the boxing and sale of special fruit gift boxes. This year, their main products are Taiwanese special fruits such as Taiwan perfume lotus, Taiwan bale, Taiwan jade girl cherry tomato and so on.
