In 2008, San Vito launched the San Vito S1 detachable hard-top convertible small sports car, which was produced in Aricandua, São Paulo, until 2017, priced at 17,855-20,850 euros (about 129,333-151,027 yuan). The car was designed by Retired Ford designer Vito Simone and positioned similar to the Mazda MX-5.

The car weighs only 930 kg and is powered by a modified Volkswagen AP 1.8T in-line 4-cylinder engine with a mid-mounted rear-drive layout. Using ethanol fuel, it produces a maximum horsepower of 152 hp at 7000 rpm, accelerates by 6.5 seconds per 100 km/h, has a power-to-weight ratio of 161.2 hp/ton, and has a maximum speed of 220 km/h. The average fuel consumption is 8 km/l, while the urban road conditions are 6 km/l.

San Vito S1 is 3.74 meters long, has a wheelbase of 2.16 meters, a width of 1.7 meters and a height of 1.15 meters. The front wheel size is 225/40 ZR18 and the rear wheel size is 235/40 ZR18, with 18-inch wheels mounted. It features a glass fiber reinforced body and integral tubular frame with a round longitudinal and rectangular cross-section. In order to save costs, the windshield uses Toyota Celica;the headlights are very low, and it is easy to mistakenly think that jump lights are used.
