There are two elderly people in Yangtak Township, Maigeti County, who use the most primitive songs to sing Daolang Muqam, who are the representative inheritors of the national intangible cultural heritage Xinjiang Uygur Muqam Art (Daolang Muqam) and the inheritors of the intangible cultural heritage of the autonomous region - Yusuin Yaya and Aishan Yaya.
Walking into the village of Keyaklek Uyi in Yangtak Township, Megheti County, a burst of heroic and unrestrained songs came from the silent village. Aishan Yaya and Yusuin Yaya are leading their apprentices to play the karon, play tambourines, and sing Muqam. In the eyes of the twin brothers, interpreting the ancient and traditional art of Daolang Muqam is the most meaningful thing in their lives.
Aishan Yaya said: "In recent years, our Daolang Muqam has been continuously developed, its popularity is getting higher and higher, and many young people have come to learn Daolang Muqam, so that the Daolang culture can be passed on from generation to generation, we feel very pleased." ”
Recalling the previous daolang Muqam singing path, Aishan Yaya and Yusuin Yaya were very emotional, and they could only ride donkeys and perform in nearby villages and towns. In recent years, the state has increased the protection and promotion of Daolang culture, the name of the twin brothers is well known to more people, the brothers have also begun to be invited to participate in international folk song festivals, original ecological concerts and other activities, and go abroad, in France, Japan, Britain, the Netherlands and other countries to perform, so that the popularity of Daolang culture gradually increased, so that Daolang culture to the country and even the world.
Yusuin Yaya said: "Previously, due to traffic and economic conditions, we could only perform in nearby townships. Now, with the support of the party and the government, the unique art of Daolang Muqam has been well publicized and developed. Every year, the state also gives me a subsidy of 20,000 yuan for art heritage, which allows us to concentrate on performing and carrying out teaching activities. ”
As the twin brothers grew more famous, so did the audience. Aishan Yaya opened a farm in his home, and every day people would come to listen to Daolang Muqam and feel the boldness and enthusiasm conveyed by the song at close range.
Aishan Yaya introduced: "As the popularity of Daolang culture becomes higher and higher, I want to take advantage of this advantage to open a farm to attract tourists to come to tourism and appreciation, further publicize Daolang Muqam, and consolidate the foundation of Daolang Muqam." ”
Now, the two elderly people, Aishan Yaya and Yusuin Yaya, have become the fourth generation of daolang muqam artists, as well as the inheritors of national intangible cultural heritage. With the growth of age, the continuation and circulation of Daolang Muqam has become the most concerned thing for the two old people. Yusuin Yaya said: "Because of the support of the government, there are many people who come to learn Daolang Muqam now, and I have 3-5 apprentices in various townships, hoping that they can study well and continue to carry forward our Daolang Muqam." ”
"I grew up listening to Daolang Muqam, I have a strong interest in it, and I have been learning from my father since I was a child. In the future, I will teach Daolang Muqam to the people around me to contribute to the inheritance of Daolang culture. Aishan Yaya's son Maiheti Aishan said firmly.
In 2006, "Daolang Maisilev" and "Daolang Muqam" were successively rated as world-class and national intangible cultural heritage protection projects by the United Nations and the Ministry of Culture. Maigeti County was also awarded the honorary titles of "Hometown of China Daolang Mai Xi Laifu" and "Hometown of Chinese Daolang Muqam" by the China Specialty Town Recommendation Committee. In order to protect and inherit this precious national cultural heritage, McGheti County has made great efforts to support it from the perspective of funds and policies, specially hired Daolang cultural inheritors as "professional teachers", and opened a Daolang Muqam art class and a training class for successors of intangible cultural heritage projects in vocational secondary professional schools. It is understood that there are now 30 Daolang art inheritors and more than 300 folk artists in Maigeti County.
Pati Guli Reheman, a teacher at the Maigeti County Vocational Secondary Professional School, said: "The school has set up a Daolang Muqam Art Class, which has been committed to cultivating the daolang Muqam inheritors. As a teacher, I am also constantly learning from the daolang muqam inheritors, supplementing my shortcomings and improving my teaching ability.
