The actor who played The Flash in the DC film, Ezra Miller, was arrested and fined $500 for disruptive behavior at a karaoke bar in Hilo, Hawaii, late last month, just a few weeks later, on April 19.
After being arrested at the Margaret Village bar in Hilo, 29,29-year-old Miller, whose beard was shaved clean, expressed "no objection" to the disorderly behavior, and the judge ordered them to stay away from the bar.
Hawaii media reported that the judge also dismissed one harassment charge in the karaoke bar incident and the allegation of obstructing public sidewalks in another incident on March 19 in exchange for Miller's guilty plea.
Miller was arrested on March 27 after allegedly harassing some customers in a bar for belligerent behavior. At the start of the incident, Miller reportedly made foul language to a 23-year-old woman singing karaoke. The actor also tried to snatch her microphone while singing. That same night, Miller allegedly rushed toward a 32-year-old man playing darts in a bar. Eventually called the police to deal with the runaway star.
Shortly after 1 a.m. on April 19, Miller became angry after being asked to leave a party at a residence and threw a chair that hit a 26-year-old woman in the forehead. Police said the unidentified woman was left with a half-inch wound on her body but refused treatment. 20 minutes after the attack, Miller was stopped at the highway intersection and arrested.
Police said in a statement that Miller was released at 4 a.m. pending investigation. They were detained on Tuesday and were scheduled for a scheduled court hearing hours later over the events in March, and later appeared by videophone, originally scheduled for April 26. (This guy is really busy)
Warner Bros. and DC executives held an emergency meeting on March 30 when they agreed to halt any future projects involving Miller following their arrest at a karaoke bar in Hilo, the sources told the media. Miller's "The Flash" is scheduled to premiere next year, but Miller, with such a history, will not participate in any public appearances in the DC Cinematic Universe.
After last month's karaoke bar incident, Miller met a local couple at a local farmers' market, left Miller at their home and released on $500 bail after Miller's arrest. The unnamed husband said that after returning home from prison, Miller had a nervous breakdown and threatened his wife, saying, "I will bury you and your wife." He told police that the actor then stole his wallet and his wife's passport.
On April 12, the Hawaiian couple dropped their application for a temporary restraining order against Miller. The lawyer representing the couple did not comment on why his client did not want to proceed with the petition against Miller storming their bedroom and threatening them.
Miller also broke the law in 2011 when they were arrested for drug possession. The actor, who was 19 at the time, was a passenger in a car in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and they were stopped and police found 20 grams of drugs on them. The judge later dropped charges of possessing the drugs, but they were charged with two acts of disorder and ordered to pay a $600 fine.
