United are already 19 points behind Liverpool on their way to Anfield, and the gap between the two teams has widened since Lonnick took over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's position in November.
Since Ferguson retired in 2013, United have replaced five managers. At the end of the season, Tenhach will take over Lonnick as the fifth Reds manager to replace since Klopp took charge of Liverpool.
