He compared the Russian-Ukrainian issue with the Taiwan Strait issue, and said that it is necessary to learn the lessons brought about by the Ukrainian incident and protect Taiwan through deterrence before the mainland's "armed reunification," which means that both Sides should significantly increase their military budgets, and the two sides should also carry out closer coordination, and it is best to restore the us troops stationed in Taiwan as before 1979, which is beneficial to both sides.
After all, after the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States in 1979, the United States explicitly promised the "three principles for the establishment of diplomatic relations" put forward by the Chinese mainland side, namely, severing diplomatic relations with Taiwan, abrogating the treaty, and withdrawing troops from Taiwan Island. If the US military re-stationed troops in Taiwan in a dignified manner, it will be tantamount to trampling on the "red line" of the Chinese mainland, and the consequences will be extremely unpredictable.

Here is a question worth pondering, will the United States copy the "Ukrainian model" and use the Taiwan Strait issue to fight a "proxy war" with Chinese mainland?
It's possible. However, the United States will certainly be cautious, and it is okay to let loose and harsh words, and it is the next policy to trigger a war. After all, the Taiwan Strait issue is different from the Russian-Ukrainian issue, which is the mainland's internal affair, and the "one-China" principle has now received universal support from the international community.
What is more, what the United States hopes is that the two sides of the strait will be stalemate, so that the mainland can be contained. At present, "Taiwan independence" can be regarded as a "hostage" taken by the United States to threaten the mainland, and if the United States continues to arch the fire, causing the mainland to have to use force to solve the problem, it will be equivalent to "tearing up the vote." Once the Taiwan Strait issue is resolved, the United States will have one less chip in its hands, and everything it has done will be meaningless. Therefore, most of the US troops stationed in Taiwan are just talking about it, and if they really want to do so, then any reaction by the mainland side is reasonable, and the complete settlement of the Taiwan Strait issue will also be put on the agenda.
