Giannis Antetokounmpo has proven himself to be one of the greatest players of all time. At the age of 27, his honors and resume are already at Hall of Fame level. Last year he led the Bucks to an NBA championship and won the Finals MVP.

Hakim Olajuwon is the top five center of all time and the most flamboyant center in his footsteps. He ruled the League with unparalleled level between 1993 and 1995. Big Dreams won DPOY in 1993 with an average of 1.8 steals and 4.2 blocks per game.
The following year, he again led the Rockets to an NBA championship with 27.3 points, 11.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.6 steals and 3.7 blocks per game. The league's best defensive player, Olajuwon scored his second consecutive DPOY while also winning his only regular-season MVP.
David Robinson

As a man with broad arms and incredible athleticism, David Robinson excelled in defensive stats in 1992, and the "Admiral" averaged 12.2 rebounds, 2.3 steals and a whopping 4.5 blocks per game in the process of winning his first and only DPOY award.
Three years later, the Admiral was awarded regular season MVP with 27.6 points, 10.8 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 3.2 blocks for the San Antonio Spurs. Robinson is a big man with two-way dominance in history, and he is one of the Spurs' respected celebrities.
Kevin Garnett

Kevin Garnett is one of the most passionate players of all time. In 2004, the big forward averaged 24.2 points, 13.9 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.2 blocks per game, Minnesota dominated 58 wins in the season, so the "Wolf King" was named MVP, but unfortunately he did not lead the Timberwolves to the final championship.
One of the greatest "heist"s in NBA trading history took place in 2008. The Boston Celtics snatched the "Wolf King" from the Timberwolves to win the final championship. That year, KG averaged 1.4 steals and 1.3 blocks per game and won DPOY.

The Milwaukee Bucks superstar has won back-to-back MVP in 2019 and 2020, though he can't yet lead his team to Promised Land. But the "Greek Monster" won his first MVP in 2019 with 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists.
The year that followed he scored DPOY and his second MVP with 29.5 points, 13.6 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks.
This season, "Monsters of Greece" is expected to win both MVP and DPOY awards again. Why?
First, he led the Milwaukee Bucks to third place in the Eastern Conference, averaging elite numbers of 29.9 points, 11.6 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.4 blocks in 67 games, shooting 55.3 percent from the field, 29.3 percent from three-point range and 72.2 percent from the free throw line. He is most competitive with Denver Nuggets Nikolai Jokic, and voters may choose Giannis as MVP based on the record.
Second, the "Greek Monster" can defend five positions on the court in an NBA game, and his average of 1.1 steals and 1.4 blocks per game is the best proof. Brother Alphabet's height, athleticism and defensive IQ are all nightmares for opponents, and perhaps only Adebayo and Jalen Jackson Jr. can match his defensive impact this year. But as far as both attack and defense are concerned, there is currently no better two-way player than the "alphabet brother".
Once the current superstars (LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant) retire, the future league façade will be the "alphabet brother". If he adds a potential third MVP and a second DPOY award to his resume this season, "Alphabet Brother" will be the best player in the world.
For now, The Alphabet Brother is trying to get into the top five forwards of all time, including Tim Duncan, Carl Malone, Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Garnett and Charles Barkley. If he can add another MVP or Defensive Player of the Year award this season, then he will be the first player to win multiple MVP and DPOY awards, then he will only see Carl Malone and Tim Duncan in front.
"Alphabet Brother" may one day surpass Malone but it will be very difficult to catch up with Duncan. "Stone Buddha" played for 19 seasons on one team and won 5 NBA championships.
