1 You were an actor in the early days? What important works have he starred in?
Yes, I've been an actor before. In 1991, the famous Hong Kong action film director Zhang Che made a movie "Westbound Ping Demon", which is a martial arts film with the theme of Journey to the West, because the actors there are all my brothers in the Xiqu Academy, and then I am looking for me, and I play the Eight Precepts of the Pig. In 1992, I participated in the TV series "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", this play was the director came to our Opera Academy to pick actors, at that time I was fatter than now, may think that my image is more suitable for the tiger's brain, so I chose to play Zhang Fei's son Zhang Bao.
2 Have you participated in the recording of "Beijing Reggae 2" to talk about this situation, in addition to other compilation albums?
"Beijing Reggae 2" this is because I know the third brother of the drum, and the producer Zhu Xiaomin they made this reggae record at that time, that is, these old songs were changed to reggae style. They had seen me perform and heard me sing, so they went to record a few songs, and I remembered that there was "Red River Village" and "Lift Your Hijab", which were changed to reggae versions. Other compilations have not been participated.
3What bands did you play in before joining Black Panther?
Before joining Black Panthers I had a band called Wild Ride.
4How did you join the Black Panther band in the first place, and I heard that you came back to Dou Wei before looking for you?
Before I joined the Panther Band, I participated in the above-mentioned Wild Band, when we recorded several original works, Li Tong listened to one of my songs, thought I sang very well, so he asked me around, and then found me to let me join the Black Panther Band.
At that time, they looked for Dou Wei and wanted him to go back again, but he did not want to go back. Dou Wei said I would go back to the Panther line, but I would play the drums, and I wouldn't sing. It was just the time for Beyond to embark on a nationwide tour before they disbanded, and the Black Panthers were guests. He wanted Dou Wei to go back and create the momentum of the black panther again, but in the end Dou Wei did not agree.
5 Many netizens have commented that you are the only lead singer in these years who dares to sing "Landless Self-Tolerance" in the original tune many times!
When I was in the Black Panther Band, I did sing "Landless Self-Contained" in the original key. Because I felt that if I didn't sing the original tune, I couldn't get out of this song just like that feeling of rushing, so I insisted on singing the original tune, which was the tune that Dou Wei sang.
6 In the Band Black Panther you have participated in a lot of big shows, is there anything impressive about it?
One of the things I remember most is that at the "Glorious Years" concert in Beijing Wukesong, I sang "Landless Self-Tolerance", the performance was particularly popular that day, and then after singing, Li Tong sent me a message saying: Da Peng, you sing very well, and Zhao Mingyi told me that the people on CCTV also went, and after watching it, I said: If this song "Landless Self-Tolerance", now this Big Peng sings this state, if it is not said that Dou Wei sang this song, this song should be Da Peng's representative work, give me such a big encouragement. A compliment that I remember very well.
7You have released a lot of singles (single discs) in Black Panther over the years, and many works are good!
The few singles I did with Black Panther were "Love Is Flying," "You're the Only One in My Life," and "I Know." I wrote the lyrics for these songs.
8 That happened in 2013 felt particularly sudden, when you were already involved in the recording of the album, right? What do you think about this after all these years?
Just leave the band, so many years have passed, am I sick because I am angry, people say that the illness comes from anger. I think the band is too difficult to play, people are unpredictable. But I'm much relieved now.
I feel that I have tried to do what I have tried to do all these years in Black Panther, and I have done it, and no matter what others say, I feel that I have done a good job. How to say it, I took the lead singer's baton from Qin Yong's hand very smoothly, and took it, but it was quite smooth.
9 in one sentence you summarize your Black Panther experience.
My experience at Black Panther is just that, I sleepwalked a bit. It was also a dream I had when I was young, because when I was young, the Panther was also a very admired object in my heart. If I had to sum it up in one sentence, it would be: be ashamed!
10What do you think about the current Band Black Panther?
My view of Black Panther is that we should keep the original style, add some new elements to the original style, you can't change this style, whether it is from the song or from the word, he has become a fixed pattern, so everyone likes it. If you change, it's not the original style, isn't that a new band? Right. Is it a young band? The fans who used to like Black Panther were sure to be difficult to accept. I think so.
Now the lead singer Zhang Qi, although he picked me up, but I have no contradiction with him, I think Zhang Qi, is a very good singer, I am still very pertinent evaluation of Zhang Qi.
11What are you busy with right now and do you have any new works?
My plan now is to organize a new band.
