This auditor is Zhang Xuanyu, an auditor at an audit center directly under the Central Military Commission's Audit Office. On the afternoon of October 8, 2021, Zhang Xuanyu suddenly suffered a psychogenic shock and collapsed on the job. This day is the traditional Chinese festival of cold dew, in 3 days, Zhang Xuanyu will usher in his 37th birthday.
In the short and flashy life journey, Zhang Xuanyu interpreted the loyalty background of a soldier with actions and wrote an extraordinary audit life.
Unfulfilled wishes
In March, in the conference room of a directly subordinate audit center of the Central Military Commission Audit Office, the analysis reports of more than 200 equipment construction supporting enterprises were placed on the desk, and Zhang Xuanyu's comrades-in-arms were conducting final data checks around the problems found in the audit task of a certain type of equipment. However, in this scene, Zhang Xuanyu, who had worked hard for the task, could not see it.
The time was set back to the first working day after the 2021 National Day holiday, and Zhang Xuanyu rushed to the unit early in the morning. Before going out, her mother Li Lida specifically instructed her son with heart discomfort to seek medical treatment as soon as possible, but at that time, Zhang Xuanyu had all in mind about the special audit task that was about to be launched. As the backbone of the audit team, Zhang Xuanyu is responsible for planning and coordination, information collection and program formulation. During those days, he often spent more than 10 hours in the office.
Just after 17:00, Zhang Xuanyu, who was sitting at his desk, suddenly turned pale and fell down. Colleagues rushed to contact the medical staff of the outpatient department, and everyone sent him to the hospital for rescue at the first time.
Unfortunately, Zhang Xuanyu's heart still stopped beating... In the last moments of his life, Zhang Xuanyu failed to leave a last word, and his desk contained his unfinished audit plan and unfinished professional books.
The fire of life was suddenly extinguished, and Zhang Xuanyu had too many unfulfilled wishes.
When the comrade-in-arms was sorting out Zhang Xuanyu's work notes, he saw that his work plan had been arranged until April of the following year; the mother still remembered her son's promise to accompany her back to her hometown to take a look when the spring was warm and blossoming.
Zhang Xuanyu, who came from a military family, sowed the seeds of "loyalty to the country" in his heart very early. He was admitted to the Air Force Logistics College with excellent results, and after graduation, he has experienced many positions such as finance and equipment, and "doing one line, loving one line, and refining one line" has become his life creed.
Li Yongchao, director of a certain audit center directly under the Audit Office of the Central Military Commission, still remembers that when the two took the last walk, Zhang Xuanyu talked to him about the next step of the work plan. "In the past two years, Zhang Xuanyu, as a technical expert in the field of equipment auditing, has often been drawn to participate in major audit tasks, and every day he faces new challenges and undertakes urgent and difficult tasks." Li Yongchao said.
After Zhang Xuanyu's death, when his comrades sorted out his belongings, they found that in addition to professional books, he also treasured a copy of "The Long March: An Unheard Story" written by the American writer Salisbury. On the title page of the book, Zhang Xuanyu wrote this paragraph: "Auditing work is also a 'long march', serving to prepare for war and related to loyalty and mission. The 'Long March' of auditing, I have not finished. ”
The Road to Loyalty
In the years of auditing, Zhang Xuanyu's footprints can weave a dense "net". He often said: "The auditor is not simply auditing, but also taking a loyal road." ”
For Zhang Xuanyu, "on the road" is the norm of work, and it is a choice without regrets.
At the end of 2016, due to the reform of the troop establishment system, Zhang Xuanyu was adjusted from the Air Force Audit Bureau to a directly subordinate audit center of the Central Military Commission Audit Office, and changed from a command and management officer to a professional and technical officer. After the transfer, Zhang Xuanyu engaged in weapons and equipment audits. Compared with the past, the audit of weapons and equipment involves many local military enterprises, the volume of funds is often astronomical, and the content of work is more complicated. Once, Zhang Xuanyu participated in a special audit task of a certain type of equipment. When investigating the purchase and consumption of a particular material, he was keenly aware that the material was widely used and used in large quantities, but the data registration was very confusing.
For more than 3 months, he thought like a magic to solve the breakthrough of the problem, sometimes returned to the dormitory to lie in bed, suddenly had a new idea, and immediately returned to the scene for verification. In order not to delay the time limit for equipment design to leave the factory, Zhang Xuanyu forgot to sample, analyze and write reports, and during that time, he almost "lost contact" with the outside world.
Zhang Xuanyu has repeatedly verified the situation with the manufacturer, compared the raw material procurement contract, payment invoice and other information in the past 5 years, and finally found that the unit had problems such as fraud.
After completing this task, Zhang Xuanyu appeared in the office the next day — and in a few days, he would be involved in another task. Wang He, director of an audit office where Zhang Xuanyu worked before his death, said: "In a year or two, Xuanyu has grown from a 'layman' equipped for auditing to a 'professional master', which is inseparable from his loyalty and persistence in the auditing cause. ”
Out of love
"There is only one step away from finding the problem, and you can't give up." Wang He clearly remembered Zhang Xuanyu's resolute expression when he said this, "He is a persistent person and a person who is full of love for life. ”
"Keep your love, keep your heart, and the world will be full of sunshine." Shi Xueqing, a civilian in the same office, said that Zhang Xuanyu likes sports and is the main force of the basketball team... When I encounter difficulties in my work, I can always hear this encouragement from him.
Sunshine-like love, in Zhang Xuanyu's view, is the best life. As he used to say, "Love is the premise of doing everything well." ”
If it weren't for love, there would be no perseverance. At the end of 2019, Zhang Xuanyu participated in the audit of the construction and management of a certain type of equipment system, and conducted an extended audit of a special vehicle manufacturer. It was the New Year's Day holiday, and the audit team arranged for everyone to climb the mountain to relax. Halfway up the mountainside, Zhang Xuanyu thought about it: the steeper the slope of the mountain, the higher the physical requirements for people. So, what is the climbing performance of special vehicles under certain conditions? Have the vehicles been fully tested before they were delivered to the troops? Is performance supported in complex terrain conditions?
In order to verify these doubts, he called over and over again to understand the situation, consulted a large number of materials to verify relevant information, and asked experts for verification through various channels. After in-depth research, he "dug" out the quality hazards and design defects of special vehicles, and analyzed the weak links in the construction of a certain type of equipment system. The research unit adopted the audit opinion and improved it in time, and the performance and reliability of the vehicle were improved.
Auditors are fighting on the economic front, a battlefield without smoke. For them, love is always about responsibility. Once, when participating in the audit of the general equipment vehicles of the whole army, Zhang Xuanyu went to a certain department to extend the inventory of vehicle equipment and equipment. At that time, the warehouse was being renovated, and a large number of twill tires were placed in the open field area.
It was the height of summer, and the area was filled with the unpleasant smell of rubber. In order to find out the bottom number of spare parts and find out whether there are problems such as false warehousing, Zhang Xuanyu and colleagues work more than 12 hours a day to check the specifications, models, production hours and other information of tires one by one.
This was a week, and the military uniform on his body was full of the smell of rubber, and he couldn't wash it off. Some colleagues advised him: "Tires are a small problem, why bother so much?" He said, "If you give up on small problems, you will cause big trouble." ”
In this way, 70,000 tires were re-registered. After comparing the equipment vehicles of the relevant units and the use of tires, he finally verified that the unit had the problem of backlog and waste of vehicle materials.
Today, the military uniform mixed with rubber smell is still stored in Zhang Xuanyu's closet. Sadly, its owner never got a chance to put it on again...
Clear life
"If you can help others a little more, you can create more happiness." In the WeChat circle of friends, Zhang Xuanyu's dynamic is still quietly telling his heart, a clear and pure world.
In the eyes of comrades-in-arms and colleagues, Zhang Xuanyu is a very pure person. In his quiet, he would sit by and read a book, as quiet as a sculpture; when it was lively, he would occasionally chat and argue with his colleagues, and his voice was particularly loud and full of emotion.
When young auditors encounter business problems, Zhang Xuanyu will always go out of his way to teach his experience to help sort out the verification ideas and share the verification work; every time he travels with his comrades-in-arms, Zhang Xuanyu will send the itinerary information to everyone early and remind everyone to bring various items.
Zhang Xuanyu's WeChat avatar is a blue sky. Li Yongchao and Zhang Xuanyu have worked together for many years, he said: "In the hearts of comrades-in-arms, Xuanyu's soul is as pure and clear as this blue sky. ”
In the eyes of the mother, the son loves work and loves friends, but he rarely cares about himself - a mobile phone has been used for four or five years, the screen is broken and he is not willing to change it; a pair of leather shoes are worn with a white upper, but he is not willing to throw it away. On the day of the sacrifice, Zhang Xuanyu and his parents agreed to go to the mall on the weekend to buy 2 smart watches that can monitor heart rate. This time, he missed the appointment forever...
Remembered because of regret, eternal because of sincerity. Wang He still remembers a sentence that Zhang Xuanyu said: "Every time we go out on a campaign, the goal is the sea of stars, and we must be people who look up at the stars." This sentence is Zhang Xuanyu's understanding of the value of life, and it is also a life creed that an army auditor scrupulously abides by.
