The new week of the British physical game sales list has been announced, last week's release of the "Lego Star Wars" series of new works "LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Legends" won the weekly sales chart champion, this game sold so well, quickly refreshed the "Lego" series of debut sales records, 8.4% higher than the previous record holder "Lego Indiana Jones", and this game currently only has physical sales data.
Compared with the games released this year, LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Legends has airborne the second most cumulative physical sales in the UK market in 2022, after Pokémon Legends And Zeus, higher than Horizon West and Elden's Ring of Law. Of the physical games sold, 31% were PS5, 26% were Switch, 23% were from Xbox and 20% were from PS4.
Lego has always been one of the best-selling series in the UK, stronger than assassin's creed, Need for Speed, Sonic, and even the Star Wars series. At present, the top five "LEGO" games with the highest cumulative sales are "LEGO Marvel Super Heroes", "LEGO Batman", "LEGO Indiana Jones", "LEGO Star Wars 2: Original Trilogy", and "LEGO Star Wars Complete Biography", all of which have sold more than 1 million copies in the UK.
Nintendo's "Kirby" series of new works "Kirby of the Stars" discovered the discovery of the second consecutive championship, sales fell 24%, ranking second in the sales list.
Eldon's Ring of Law fell to sixth place, with sales down 13 percent.
"Little Tina's Fantasy Land" fell out of the top ten, with sales down 51%.
With the release of LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Legends, the LEGO Harry Potter Collection, also from the "LEGO" series, soared 161%, from 21st to 15th; LEGO Marvel SuperHero rose 130% and returned to 32nd place in sales; and LEGO Jurassic World rose 75% to 35th place.
