La Liga clubs have achieved some good results in Europe over the past week, with several interesting matches played in the 31st round of La Liga. João Felix won player of the month
Jo o Félix won the Best Player in La Liga in March with several consecutive performances. The Portuguese contributed three goals and one assist in the past month to help Atletico Madrid win all three La Liga games in March. It is also the second time that the 22-year-old has won La Liga Player of the Month since November 2020.
Barca beat Levante
In the early morning of Monday Beijing time, Barca played away to Levante. With super substitute Luuk de Jong's brilliant goal in injury time, Barca won 3-2. Alaves changed coaches again
Julio Velázquez became Alaves' third manager in 2021/22. With Alaves at the bottom of the table, former manager Mendilibar made the decision to leave, taking over the coaching whip of Calleja after 18 rounds of the season. While Alaves lost 1-0 to Osasuna in the 31st round of La Liga, Velasquez believes there are still some positive signs for the team with seven games left and they have to fight for survival.
Benzema once again completed a hat-trick in the Champions League
Karim Benzema once again shocked the world, scoring a hat-trick in two consecutive Champions League matches. In a match against Paris Saint-Germain, his heroic performance gave the team a ticket to the Quarter-Finals of the Champions League. The Frenchman then scored another three goals at Stamford Bridge to help the Galaxy beat Chelsea 3-1 in the first leg.
Villarreal beat Bayern Munich
Villarrels also won the first leg in this week's Champions League quarter-finals, where they beat the more dominant Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich 1-0 at home. Bayern have never lost in their last 25 Champions League road trips, but lost to the Yellow Submarines in the first leg.
Atletico Barca are keen to win the second round of European matches
In the past week, two more La Liga teams have played in European competitions. Atletico Madrid lost 1-0 away to Manchester City in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, and the title battle between La Liga and the Premier League was very remarkable. Subsequently, in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, Barca drew 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt. Both teams will go all out at home for the second leg of the match.

Over the past week, the UEFA Grassroots Awards have hosted awards ceremonies and Athletic Bilbao has won the award for the best professional club in Europe. Bilbao was recognized for its comprehensive child protection and safety policy implemented at the Lesama Academy.
