Since the launch of nucleic acid screening in Puxi, the patrol police of the Dongjing Police Station of the Songjiang Public Security Bureau have successively found that there are many medium and large trucks around a logistics park in the jurisdiction that cannot be driven away due to road control, and most drivers have not carried out nucleic acid and antigen testing in time, and because the goods are in the car, they are reluctant to stay in the isolation hotel temporarily.

In this regard, the Dongjing police station immediately implemented the police to find out the number of stranded trucks and drivers in the nearby road section, and to appease the anxiety of drivers due to the shortage of living materials. At the same time, together with the Epidemic Prevention Office and other departments, we cooperated with medical staff to carry out nucleic acid testing for all stranded drivers for the first time, and the results were negative.

On the evening of April 1, after docking with the town government, the Dongjing police station opened a temporary area on Tongshun Road for stranded drivers to park their vehicles in an orderly manner, and together with the health center and other departments, carried out daily antigen testing for all drivers and regular nucleic acid testing. At the same time, coordinate multiple parties to provide domestic water and meals, install temporary public toilets, and solve the driver's needs for eating and drinking.

It is worth mentioning that in order to better carry out epidemic prevention work and related living security, the town government, epidemic prevention office, health center staff and the police of Dongjing Police Station convened all drivers to establish a WeChat working group to release the latest epidemic prevention information and timely guide and solve the problems reflected by drivers in the group.

"This resettlement site is like a temporary 'home' for us, thanks to the hard work of the police, staff and volunteers." The driver, Mr. Ni, told reporters. It is understood that as of April 11, more than 130 stranded truck drivers had been placed in the temporary parking area. (End)
