White lotus flowers bloom in the green rippling water, and a few red carp swim around the lotus flowers. This glazed relief porcelain plate painting, called "Lotus Dream", is as moist as beautiful jade, and won the gold medal of the 2012 Sichuan Provincial Arts and Crafts Exhibition, which is the pottery of the Shushan kiln in Mingyue Village. In such a poetic environment as Mingyue Village, many such amazing pottery works have been spawned, and it is this poetic feeling that has attracted the most valuable and potential potter in the new era of Mingyue Village, Mr. Li Qing.
Li Qing, 55 years old this year, has been exploring the road of fine art ceramics for 20 years. In the 7 years of Mingyue Village, Li Qing adhered to his original intention, made pottery with his heart, and inherited and carried forward the culture of Mingyue pottery. The three stages of pottery production: mud selection and mud, pulling embryo molding, and firing completion, just confirm its growth process in Mingyue Village.

Walking into a small farm yard in Mingyue Village, Ganxi Town, under the dark green umbrella is a tea table and a few rattan chairs, the wide operating platform is full of finished pottery tires and porcelain plates to be burned, several young people are carefully putting them into the kiln one by one to be fired, some of which are painted with characters, some are famous landscapes in Sichuan, and some even vividly show giant pandas eating bamboo, exuding strong Sichuan cultural characteristics, here is Li Qing's studio. Further inside, through the hut full of pottery works, we came to Li Qing's back garden, where Teacher Li Qing was sitting in the sun room sipping a bright moon green tea comfortably.
Speaking of the first time he came to Pujiang, Li Qing showed a faint smile on his face, "It was in the early winter of 2015, I came to Pujiang with my friend, and I was immediately attracted by the scenery here. "Ancient pine handsome, ancient kiln quiet, simple folk customs of Mingyue Village everywhere attracts Li Qing," walking between the paths of Mingyue Village, the beautiful scenery of the tea garden bamboo sea pine forest, every time this scene will remind me of the scene of 'Strange traffic, chickens and dogs smelling, white hair hanging down, and enjoying themselves' in "Peach Blossom Origin", such a beautiful environment makes me feel inspired to gush out continuously, I like to stay here. ”
In addition to the beautiful environment, Mingyue Village also has more than 300 years of Mingyue kiln culture, Li Qing introduced to us: "In the Tang and Song Dynasties, driven by the influence and radiation of Qiong kiln, coupled with rich resources, Pujiang became an important production area of ceramics. Mingyue Village has always inherited the traditional Chinese pottery hand-making skills, and its ceramics are very simple and natural, individual and artistic. This intrinsic culture of pottery is exactly the resource he seeks.
Mingyue Village has deeply attracted Li Qing from the environment to the cultural heritage, but this is only one of the reasons. More importantly, with the support of the Pujiang County Party Committee and County Government, in June 2014, the "Mingyue International Ceramics Village Project" with Mingyue Kiln as the core was officially launched, Mingyue Village developed the Qiongyao industry, through the establishment of Mingyue International Ceramics Village, established a pottery-based handicraft creative gathering area in Mingyue Village, and built Mingyue Village into an international tourist destination for ceramic culture in 3-5 years. And Li Qing saw this opportunity, "I want to use this opportunity to carry forward the art of Sichuan pottery, make the Shushan kiln bigger, and let myself find the value of existence." ”
Therefore, in February 2015, Shushan Kiln signed a contract with Mingyue Village to set up the Shushan Kiln Pottery Museum here to conduct research, creation and production of pottery.

Li Qing was originally from Chongqing, but he had long regarded his hometown as his hometown. Time in mingyue village slowly and quickly passed, with the Shushan kiln mingyue workshop and other successively presented as agreed, Li Qing here fired a beautiful mingyue cup, immersed in the study of pottery culture and created a variety of themes, rich content of artistic ceramics, tea culture and Taoist culture integration of Shushan Taoist masterpieces frequently. In addition to developing works, Li Qing is more thinking about how to drive villagers to make pottery and revitalize the pottery industry in Mingyue Village, so as to promote the development of the entire Mingyue Village.
Through visiting and investigating and verifying historical facts, Li Qing put forward the concept of developing "agricultural pottery", so Li Qing opened a public welfare training class to train local villagers, inherit the pottery culture of Mingyue Village, and promote the industrialization of "Mingyue International Ceramics Village". Li Qing said happily: "In this way, the villagers have learned this craft, planted land when busy, made pottery in their spare time, and while inheriting traditional handicrafts, they also developed the pottery industry in Mingyue Village, and the villagers' pottery industry can also increase their income when they are idle." In June 2016, the backbone training of the villagers of Cultural and Creative Pottery in Mingyue Village initiated and organized by Li Qing was launched, and more than 20 villagers participated in the first training. The villagers who had attended the public welfare training class said gratefully: "I used to go out to work, earn less money, be far from home, and can't take care of my children, since I participated in the training class, because of my fast learning ability, I was invited by teacher Li Qing to work in Shushan Xiaozhu, teaching pottery, the salary is considerable, and I am close to home, and many friends are envious of me." ”
From 2016 to 2020, shushan kiln annual public welfare training courses have never stopped, and the trainees have gradually radiated from the initial villagers of Mingyue Village to Chengdu, Ya'an and other surrounding districts and counties. Li Qing said: "I will invite my friends to give lessons to the students, there are professional potters, 'LeYao RAKU' expert Dai Gang, there are also Sichuan Normal University teachers, potter Dr. Zhu Xinlong, etc., their lectures are humorous and wonderful, so that many students have benefited a lot." "Through the training of one period a year and more than 300 courses, many trainees have been able to independently create ceramic works, and exhibit and sell them through the Shushan Kiln Ceramic Art Museum, the Visitor Service Center and their own business formats, which has promoted the development of the cultural and creative industry in Mingyue Village."
Here, Li Qing studied the history of the old kiln, did local clay analysis, opened free training courses, etc., and became a veritable "new villager" in Mingyue Village.
