ROPZ: The limits of the team are in the sky, and I am eager to win

In Düsseldorf, Germany, FaZe continued its good start to 2022, conquering the EPL S15 after IEM Katowice. Ropz has played an important role in the wonderful showdown with ENCE many times, and was elected the MVP award given by HLTV for its outstanding performance. After the game, he gave a brief interview to HLTV.

ROPZ: The limits of the team are in the sky, and I am eager to win

- Congratulations! How do you feel about the team that came out with a full line-up and won the grand prix?

ROPZ: I'm especially satisfied right now (laughs). I've only been with our team for four months, so it's fair to say that we've been crazy so far. I was so happy, so proud.

The talent in our team is so good that everybody sees it (laughs). The sky is our limit and I can't wait to get into more events and keep up the pace of victory.

Karrigan said that you will have something to say on BP. What he said was true, so, why did you put Vertigo out?

Ropz: That's right, I actually told you yesterday that our Vertigo wasn't playing very well. But after the interview, I went back to the practice room and Karrigan was looking at us and posing with a "That's the plan, guys!" The look (laughs). So as you can see, we didn't ban Vertigo, we deliberately let the opponent choose first, so that they could choose it themselves, so that we could play Vertigo, it didn't matter if we won or lost, there were four pictures that we were good at anyway. But even with that in mind, we confidently took down Vertigo.

- Overpass can be said to be a shame, you played overtime, but you did not win. How did the team feel after that game?

Ropz: Overpass's words... It's probably the worst picture we've played so far, and we, as a team, haven't been able to play well there. In some aspects, we are very dissatisfied, such as mistakes in props, and the communication at some nodes is not perfect.

I felt that this game at Overpass was very similar to the group stage, and Hades helped his team win about five endgames. We definitely have a chance, maybe but whenever there is a endgame he fails to win, we win, right? They played well on Overpass, but I'm happy that even so, we're making a comeback.

- Last question, I promise to answer this and I will let you go back to celebrate. Can you win Major?

Ropz: That's right, of course we have the ability to win Major (smile).

RMR is just next week, so we have to be preoccupied with it, step by step, not overblown. I think we all know what the goal of this team is and we're ready to take over.
