Ahead of last week's battle with Cody Rhodes in WWE RAW, The Miz was interviewed by foreign media outlet The Detroit News. The "WWE's best-to-see superstar" talks about how his character has evolved over the years.
"You're never going to be the most popular person, you're never going to be the most hated person because everyone has their own opinion. Some will say Shawn Michaels is the greatest, others will say Hulk Hogan, The Rock or Stone Cold Steve Austin. Some might even say I'm medz, and my job is to make sure I get mixed up.
"So I've been working on this," he said. "I know I'll never be able to do it, but I'll fight for it, maybe one day it will actually happen."
As his attention shifted more to developing WWE rising stars, Meads talked about whether he was about to retire. He said he hopes to continue to nurture WWE talent, including celebrities who compete in wrestling competitions.
Speaking of social celebrities, WWE actress Alexa Bliss and singer Ryan Cabrera were married in California over the weekend.
The two met on a reality TV show in 2020 and were engaged in November of that year.
