When Lego meets "Happiness Factory", what kind of spark can it hit?

If you want to talk about the combination of Lego and the game, I am afraid that the most famous is "Minecraft". Of course, in recent years, lego and game cooperation is also more and more, like the Mario series that has been very popular in recent years, the new products are set after set. There has also been no shortage of various designs for game themes in Idea, such as the new Sonic suit launched this year. In addition, more game themes have also been brought to Theeas platform by many designers, such as the SATISFACTORY CONSTRUCTOR (Happy Factory Constructor) that I want to introduce to friends today.

Happy Factory is a factory management simulation game published by Coffeestain Studio. Since landing on steam in 2020, it has continued to receive rave reviews from players, and has now been updated five times. This first-person open-world factory building game incorporates features such as exploration and combat. Players can embark on an alien adventure in the game on their own, or explore alien planets with their friends. Of course, it is important to remember that this is also a more liver-consuming game.

Back to reality, our author, Nerdy Legoist, conceived of such a scene. On a distant planet, a pioneer lands alone in an unfriendly alien landscape. He relied on his own hands to mine resources, build parts, and eventually build automated factories. Not only that, but as a pioneer, you have to be careful of aggressive creatures on the planet, but also consider the coordination, production and transportation of resources. In a way, this game is similar to Lego, and it also requires creativity and building to solve problems. Thinking of this, the author decided to use Lego to implement a very important device in the game, "Constructor", the constructor.

The constructor is the equipment that needs to be assembled as soon as possible in the early stage of the game, its role is to make the metal ingots synthesized by metal minerals into various basic parts, and you can freely choose the type of parts to be made in the constructor interface, because of its function and the image of the name "one out of one".

Automated production is usually achieved by connecting the output of the refiner to the input of the constructor to make it work properly. The refiner continuously makes the metal ingots, and through the conveyor belt, the constructor continuously builds the parts.

Returning to the design scheme, the game of Happiness Factory provides a huge open map, and there are four terrains on the map, grass, sand, forest and desert area as the player's spawn point selection, and different spawn points correspond to different difficulties. Here the author designed the desert terrain, with beige and gray-brown bricks forming a depressed environment, occasionally dotted with a few drought-tolerant plants.

The authors wanted to design it as a showcase, trying to strike a balance between the game's industrial styling and eye-catching exotic landscapes. The design of the constructor tries to restore the game, from the shape to the color is very close, the energized coil, the climbing ladder have been built and restored. The appearance of this constructor gives a strong industrial metallic texture, the contrast between orange and gray is prominent, the shape is straight and rigid, and the structure is practical without redundancy.

The technical parts of the robotic arm are almost exactly the same as in the game, and the combination of shaft and pin allows the robot arm to operate flexibly.

Automated factories are naturally indispensable to conveyor belts, through which the two ends of the constructor are connected to the refiner and the warehouse, on the one hand, a steady stream of metal ingots is sent in, and the finished parts are continuously sent to the warehouse. The author also restored the direction arrow at the conveyor entrance and exit, indicating the transmission direction of the conveyor belt. However, this design does not have the function of making the conveyor belt movable, and it cannot achieve circular work, and friends who love motors can try to transform it.

In addition to the huge machinery, the author also designed many small species common in the game, and friends who have played the game should be able to see and collect them.

For example, the yellow power slug, the huge size is clear at a glance, there are blue, pink and other versions of the game, we can also use other colors to MOC. The restoration of this slug is very high, and compared with the game, do you also feel that the restoration is in place.

There is also the pink ancientberry, a fruit that restores stamina. The authors simulated its leaves and fruits with pink leaf pieces and spherical pieces.

Take a closer look, in the corner of the machine, there is a coffee cup that is thought to be an important prop but is useless.

In the end, the author also intimately designed several metal ingots and their corresponding output parts, such as limestone and produced concrete, iron ingots and produced iron plates, copper ingots and produced coils, and a fictional metal ingot called Chin and a produced fast coil. Compare it with the actual objects in the game to see if it is very restored.

This work contains 1530 pieces of parts, and since it participated in the selection in January this year, it has received nearly 9,000 likes in less than two months, and it can be said that there is no suspense in breaking through the 10,000 likes. It seems that there are many fans of "Happiness Factory" among Lego fans. Here I also slightly suggest that friends, if you are confident in your liver, you may wish to try this liver-consuming game, experience the feeling of starting from scratch to sitting on several production lines, just like playing Lego, a bunch of scattered parts into a building.

I'm HB Jun, more exciting, stay tuned for Lego Warehouse bad snow and Jim's World.
