While Elden Ring isn't classified as a horror game, there are plenty of creepy monster designs in it. FromSoftware's open world is filled with all sorts of indescribable horrors and terrifying monsters, and the first boss players encounter in the game is unsettling.
As the first real boss the player faces, the descendants of the throttle nobles will encounter them immediately after the player has pinched their faces. As a first-sighted story kill boss, the descendants of the taking nobles will kill the player and teleport them to the junction. Due to its fast movement speed, most players may not necessarily see it very well.
YouTube channel Zullie the Witch shared a video that gave fans a closer look at the boss at the beginning (the mob in the back), revealing that its design was more creepy than people initially thought.
The video shows that the step-up nobleman has a childlike face with golden eyes. However, there are a variety of other limbs, attached to the pieces of flesh that make up their bodies, extending from the core to many different kinds of feet and hands. This makes the articulate nobles look like spiders or crabs.
Although it appears that most of the limbs come from humans, it is clear that other creatures also played a role in creating monsters. It has peacock-like feathers on its body and soft wings.
When the cloak, which is usually covered, is removed, its torso appears to be composed of multiple other large torsos joined together. Zullie the Witch believes it was taken from the giants.
It can be seen that FromSoftware has indeed put a lot of effort into monster design, and it is not known whether such a meticulous monster design will become a nightmare for players. Eldon's Ring of Law is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
