Gilgamesh, the legendary hero king of the Plains of Central Andbotamia. According to the list of Sumerian kings, he was the king who ruled Uruk for 126 years. There are rumors that he was once a mischievous ruler, and only after encountering the half-human, half-beast warrior Enchidu transformed into a beloved hero king.
