What is right and wrong? Russia and Ukraine are caught in a war of public opinion
The Ukrainian army described that in the Bucha incident, "some bodies were tied with white cloth strips and seemed to have suffered a 'execution'" with shooting from behind." This description is highly suggestive.
As the "exposer" of the Bucha incident, the Ukrainian army took the lead in seizing people. And because it was Ukrainian civilians who died, Ukraine has become the guide of public opinion on this incident, both in terms of initiative and sympathy.

Seeing that international public opinion was indisputable, UN Secretary-General António Guterres could not sit still. On 3 April, he issued a statement expressing the hope of an independent investigation into the Butcha incident. The so-called independent investigation means that a third party other than the Russian-Ukrainian warring parties conducts a truth investigation in order to obtain an objective and fair investigation result and not wrongfully accuse any party. But how much weight does Guterres's words carry?
However, no matter how confusing the case, there is also a moment when the truth is revealed, and even the biggest grievances have a moment of peace. Russia's biggest crisis may affect the course of the war

And many people also took the opportunity to turn over the Katyn massacre that occurred in 1940, which was made by the former Soviet Union, further implying that Russia had a previous conviction.
