The reporter learned from the Yunnan Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps that on the afternoon of May 17, the Jiezhuo Tea Factory in Jinuoshan Township, Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, collapsed, resulting in 6 people being trapped.
After the incident, Xishuangbanna Prefecture activated the emergency plan, and the fire rescue team immediately dispatched 46 people, 12 vehicles and 4 dogs to the scene for disposal.
As of 22:00 on May 17, all the trapped people have been rescued, 3 people have been confirmed dead, and the other 3 people have stable vital signs and have been sent to the hospital for treatment.

1. Construction protection plan: foundation construction should have a protection plan, the depth of the foundation pit is more than 5 meters, and there should be a special support design.
2. Ensure the stability of the slope: excavation trenches, foundation pits, etc., should be based on soil quality and excavation depth and other conditions to put the slope slope, such as the site does not allow slope excavation, should be set up solid wall support or supporting structure system. The distance between the excavated soil pile and the edge of the pit and trough shall not be less than the design provisions, and the pile height shall not exceed 1.5 meters. During the excavation process, the soil stability of the side wall should be checked frequently, and measures should be taken at any time if cracks, looseness or support are found. According to the soil quality, ditch depth, groundwater level, weight of machinery and equipment, etc., determine the distance between the stacked materials and the construction machinery and the pit.
3. The excavation sequence should conform to the provisions of the construction organization design, and follow the principle of excavation layer by layer from top to bottom, and it is forbidden to use the method of digging holes.
4. Drain and lower the water table. When excavating earthwork below the groundwater level, drainage or precipitation measures should be determined according to geological data, excavation depth, etc., and groundwater should be effectively treated in the whole process of underground construction to prevent collapse.
5. Operators must strictly abide by the safety operation procedures. Before going down the pit, it is necessary to check the soil changes of the slope, and the part with cracks should be dug out in time. Take the escalator or horse path up and down, do not climb up and down the slope to prevent the slope from collapsing, and do not jump from the top down. During the break, you should go to the ground to prevent the slope from collapsing and being smashed or buried. It is not allowed to dismantle the earth wall support or other supporting facilities.
6. Monitoring measures. Frequently check the slope and support conditions, and if abnormalities are found, measures should be taken in time and the underground operators should be notified to evacuate. When the operator finds that a large amount of soil has fallen on the slope and there is a sound in the support facilities, he should evacuate immediately to prevent the soil from collapsing and causing casualties.
7. Dismantle the support facilities. It should be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the construction organization design, usually from the bottom up, with the process of filling, fill a layer and dismantle a layer, and not once dismantled to the top.
