Zheng Xiao was born in an artistic family, her father is a national first-class actor of the Peking Opera House in Shandong Province, and she is also influenced by her father and fell in love with the art of Peking Opera. But learning Peking opera was a chore, and her father didn't want her to suffer at first, but let her learn piano and vocal music from an early age. But later, because of the reason of moving and transferring schools, Zheng Xiao still entered the drama school by mistake and began his own opera life.
During his time in school, Zheng Xiao was carefully taught by Wang Mei and Zhang Chunqiu, two Meipai educators, and Wang Mei taught dramas such as "Mu Ke Zhai" and "Si Fan". Teacher Wang Mei has a "Mei" in his name, which may be the fate in the underworld, which makes Zheng Xiao and the "Mei Pai" art form an indissoluble relationship.
In 2004, Zheng Xiao was admitted to the Performance Department of the China Academy of Performing Arts with excellent results, and was taught by Wang Zhiyi, a disciple of Master Mei Lanfang and meipai educator; in 2007, Zheng Xiao, as a key student of Chinese opera, rehearsed Wu Qinghua in the modern Peking Opera "Red Detachment of Women", and was personally guided by Peking Opera performance artist Du Jinfang.

In the eyes of many people, Zheng Xiao is lucky, but her efforts and persistence are rarely seen. After graduating from the Chinese Opera, Zheng Xiao entered the Beijing Peking Opera Youth Troupe with the first result, and since then she has also started a life of home, unit and theater. In 2010, she entered the door of the famous Peking Opera performance artist Mr. Mei Baojiu and became his disciple. Mei Pai's singing voice is elegant and profound. From the outside, it is a very dignified and elegant opera genre, but on the inside, it has the appearance of classical Chinese art. In ancient China, it paid attention to the place and rules of the heavens, and this neutral and unbiased characteristic made the Meipai singing voice more in line with the aesthetics of the Chinese, just right and not contrived.
