Children learn specialties, should they be more and more extensive or less refined? Tell me about my experience

author:Ink is growing

I have a small chess fan in my family, and through 3 years of hard work, he got the certificate of national amateur 5 dan. Many parents of chess children have asked me: How can your children improve so fast, you parents will play Go! Shame on you, we all know nothing about Go.

However, through the fact that children learned Go, I have learned some experiences. Usually children in the preschool or primary school stage, parents will let children learn a variety of specialties, the so-called art is not pressurized, but the child's energy is limited, time is limited, learning too much may not be digested, it is better to choose what he likes, learn thoroughly. Of course, I'm referring to most ordinary children, talented teenagers who are not in the scope of this discussion.

I remember the first time my child proposed to me to learn Go, when he was 6 years old, it was the "Go into Kindergarten" activity that exposed him to Go and became interested. But I didn't care. When he was 7 years old, he brought it up again, and I still didn't take it seriously. When I was 8 years old, he said to me again: Mom, please, give me a Go class!

At this time, I noticed that the child was very fond of Go, so I said, "Well, since you decided to learn Go, my mother only has one request, and you can't give up halfway." ”

In September 2013, I took him to Li Jing Go School and started the road of Go.

Because the child loved it, he bought him a book with a façade, and he has not turned it over several times.

I remember that the first time I took him to the provincial competition was on May 22, 2015, and he was in the 1st dan group. Before leaving, Teacher Li Jing said to him: You play well, better than you can jump. Unfortunately, he won 4 times in 7 sets and had no chance of promotion. The last set lost the opportunity, the child cried darkly, sitting on the field how to persuade not to go out, almost missed the train home.

After a long time after this, he saw someone he knew and said, "I won 4 sets, and I didn't advance." "Even when he sees the old man in the carport downstairs, he has to tell people again."

It was the first time I had seen a child so sad. I am afraid that only Go can give children who grow up in honeypots now have the opportunity to withstand setbacks.

From this defeat onwards, I began the journey of accompanying him on the battlefield. Play while playing, let the child travel while playing, increase chess strength, and gain insight.

On weekdays, I use the computer to accompany the game of Go

In 2016, he participated in the provincial children's Go promotion stage competition in Shenyang, this time he was in the 3 dan group, 3 liters 4, compared to 11 rounds. The first day's winning streak gave him a lot of confidence, and she whispered to me: "Mom, I must win the championship this time!" "I'm very happy to see him so confident. Unexpectedly, at night, he had a high fever and had to put a fever sticker on him.

It was very painful to watch him. The next day I asked him, "Can I still compete?" No mom take you home! He said, yes!

In the arena, the antipyretic patch on his forehead made me recognize him at a glance. At the same time, I was worried about what would happen to him. Unexpectedly, he became more and more courageous, winning 10 in 11 rounds and rising to 4 dan with a second-place result.

Participating in more games can increase chess, and I believe through the experience of children. After that, whenever there is a chance, whether it is promotion or not, I will take him out to play.

The city's competition is basically the champion

For him at that time, he was a veteran of the Battle of Go. Many problems, he can solve by himself. He went out of the hotel by himself, went to the arena by himself, and came back by himself, that is, he found that the room locked the door after he came back, and he didn't care. If this had been before, I would have cried a long time ago. Thanks to Go for allowing him to grow. Let him experience setbacks, gain self-confidence, and understand the truth of "there are people outside the people, there is a sky outside the sky".

After junior high school, Go was temporarily put down, and in his own words, he went to college first and then returned to Go. I believe that because of the growth of knowledge at that time, his road to Go will be smoother.

The above is my experience, welcome to discuss together.
