Tian Yunming, 50 years old this year, currently teaching at Wuhan Experimental School, is a high school English teacher with 27 years of teaching experience, and is also a class teacher, and students familiar with him call him "hot blood class teacher". Since 2004, he has donated a total of 37,300 milliliters of blood, equivalent to the sum of the blood in 7 adults. When he first donated blood, Tian Yunming still remembers it vividly. On August 16, 2004, Tian Yunming and his family saw the blood donation truck while shopping, and with the psychology of trying, they stepped forward to donate 200 ml of hot blood. Seeing that his body was no different after donating blood, he donated whole blood 2 times in succession.
The real determination to keep donating blood was in 2016. One day, he received a call from the Blood Center, and after learning that patients of the same blood type were in urgent need of platelets, he immediately rushed to the Blood Center and completed the ingredient blood donation for the first time. "Watching Yin Hong's blood flow out of my body little by little, when I thought that the blood I donated could immediately save people, I felt a sense of pride, it was worth it!" Under the patient explanation of the nurse, Tian Yunming learned that the interval between donating ingredients for blood donation is only 14 days, and in order to save more lives, many blood donors choose to participate in ingredient blood donation regularly every month.
"At that time, at the blood center, I saw a lot of people donating blood, which was very touching. They come from all walks of life and silently contribute to society in their own way. As a teacher, I have the heavy responsibility of teaching and educating people, and it is my duty to donate blood. It is not only a way for me to give love, but also my responsibility and obligation. Since then, Tian Yunming has come to donate blood almost every month.
