Gao Tian: We chose to release sports icons at the New Year's Eve Ice and Snow Festival, mainly to consider the arrival of the new year, the footsteps of the Beijing Winter Olympics are getting closer and closer, through the release of sports icons, to friends around the world to say a Happy New Year to all friends.

Gao Tian: The design of sports icons lasted about half a year, and it started relatively early. As a Winter Olympics held in China, we have always focused on how to combine the characteristics of winter sports with the characteristics of Chinese culture as the starting point, because sports icons are not only sports symbols, but also cultural symbols. So the whole design process has undergone many discussions, modifications, repeated thinking, and finally formed this set of sports icons.
