Presented today is a set of cases that cleverly resolve the alien pattern.
The style belongs to the modern style but adds some traditional American decorative techniques.
The house is located in Beijing, Sunshine Shangdong Community, 2 halls and 2 bedrooms. The location of each room is reasonable and does not require major adjustments.
When measuring, as soon as you enter the door, you can feel the alien shape of the house structure, which is why the owner is willing to find our design director to handle it, which is really tricky.
After our analysis, this sense of alienation mainly comes from the non-right angle relationship between the walls, that is, the wall turn is not 90 degrees.
From the mapping, it is clear that the non-90 degree turning wall mainly appears in the area of the dining room, bathroom and second bedroom entrance.
The designer took the shot below.
The magic weapon to eliminate the sense of alienation is one: shared space
The two bathrooms are separated and the sink is shared.
In doing so, the most alien bathroom wall was removed, and the remaining bathroom area was large enough to put down the shower and bathtub. The shared sink also enlarges the foyer space and the dining room space.
Open kitchen.
The original kitchen partition wall and the partition wall of the second bedroom entrance were removed to share the kitchen with the living room. Due to the distance between the dining table and the kitchen, the designers made a U-shaped kitchen layout, embedding a small bar for improvised dining. And in order to ensure the operating distance between the cabinets (nearly 1.2 meters), the overall cabinet exceeds the original wall by 40 centimeters, using this 40 centimeters, making a high cabinet, two sides of the opening, both made of wall closure, but also connected to the cabinet corner.
The second magic weapon to eliminate the sense of alienation: divert visual attention
After this transformation, the remaining non-right angles caused by the original wall were weakened by the designers with furniture and appliances. With the visual center point, people don't care if the corner is a right angle.
In addition, the bathroom layout looks just the right size on the drawings, but when it comes to the field, especially the empty bathroom, it will feel crowded. This is caused by the "feeling of oppression" caused by the wall to the small space. During the construction process, the owner also constantly tangled the position of the wall, repeatedly deliberating, but finally according to the size of the designer, it was just right.
foyer
The foyer consists of 2 sets of cabinets, one 35 cm thin and one 60 cm thick. Thin ones are used to put shoes and casual items, and slippers are placed 15 cm above the ground at the bottom of the cabinet; thick ones are used to hang clothes. There will be a corner cabinet at the intersection of the two sets of cabinets, where the plug cabinet is made, as an extension of the thick cabinet body, which is not commonly used to stock up.
The side panel of the entrance cabinet not only jumped color (the choice of wood color was selected, distinguished from the white of the cabinet door), but also protruded 2 cm from the back wall, and the light strip was embedded. This avoids seeing the gaps created by the cabinet against the wall, and also brightens the blackboard paint behind it, killing two birds with one stone, and the design director's skill is evident.
The cabinet design of the whole home has its unified feature, that is, the side sealing plate is flush with the cabinet body, rather than the conventional flush with the cabinet door. In other words, instead of hiding the cabinet door, the cabinet protrudes. This feature is the change in simplicity.
The whole home is tiled, but the tiles are also "designed". The foyer area is hexagonal brick, and inside is a wooden floor tile, visually dividing the area. The bricks inside are not laid according to the conventional I-shaped shop, but use the herringbone shop commonly used for wooden flooring, and do not squat down to touch the real wooden floor.
restaurant
The round dining table should be the friendliest for this alien corner. The finished sideboard blends into the wall and exudes vintage elements with arches. The dining table, sideboard, chandelier, all white, only vertical stripes to create a sense of design, they are easy to blend with the surroundings, but very natural, by a few rattan retro-shaped chairs pulled back to the properties of the restaurant.
The wall panel next to the dining table is a major feature of this case: the rectangular decorative frame at both ends is disconnected. From the dining room to the living room. Low saturation blue-green mixed color, very stable, very attractive. As soon as you enter the door, you will draw your eyes to this side, thus ignoring the alien structure of the house.
Living room
The living room is shared with the kitchen. Because the roof has to take the wind pipe water machine, the thickness needs to exceed 30 cm. The designer used two layers of plaster lines to weaken this gap: a 12 cm main plaster line, going to the top, and a 3 cm flat line, going to the bottom.
The rectangular decorative frames of the parapet panels, the leather orange sofas, and the herringbone "wooden" floors all reveal traditional American elements. In addition to being busy as the "protagonist", the wall panel also "takes care of" the responsibility of hiding the master bedroom door.
Invisible doors require a high degree of coordination and cooperation between the construction party and the custom furniture manufacturer, otherwise it is easy to rework. The construction party needs to do the base layer, which is used to install the wall panels and connect the installation of invisible doors.

Orange circular floor lamps, when lit up in the evening, seem to inherit the sunset afterglow.

kitchen
"U" shaped kitchen utilization is the highest.
The bar counter high cabinet for closing is used on both sides.
The cabinet on one side of the bar is used on both sides, with a partition in the middle, and the two sides take items.
The cabinets are also designed with separation colors, with the base cabinet being wood and the hanging cabinet being light grey.
The cabinet at the bottom of the bar can be opened on one side, and the side is a fake door panel, which is also a wooden cabinet door.
The bar counter table caters for improvised dining.

balcony
The balcony cabinets also have rectangular decorative elements, using a 9 mm wide nested lattice, paying homage to the living room wall panels.
toilet
The front door of the bathroom is blocked by glass bricks to block the line of sight, and the light changes as the light changes.
The side panels of the foyer cabinet contain wire lamps to illuminate the blackboard.
Masonry glass bricks must use very transparent glue, such as shadowless glue, otherwise the overall effect will look cloudy.
Master bedroom
In order to increase storage space in the master bedroom, the wardrobe extends from the entrance door to the window. In order not to cause a sense of pressure, the thickness of the hanging cabinet is reduced to 45 cm (60 cm for the floor-to-ceiling wardrobe).
The bedside part of the cabinet is surrounded by a circle of wooden boards, increasing the "sense of security" of sleep.
The corner wardrobe also contains a corner docking cabinet, which is opened by a door.
Enter the door and look at the dresser.
The bedside table by the window was replaced with a dresser.
On the other side is a regular bedside table.
There is no hole in the invisible door.
