Pete Cech

Pete Cech from the 2022 Premier League Hall of Fame 25-man shortlist:

Pete Cech is the cornerstone of the best defensive line in Premier League history, and he made history with a clean sheet. Cech joined Chelsea in 2004 and the Blues conceded just 15 goals in 38 games in 2004/05, setting a record for the fewest goals conceded in a single Premier League season.

He also won the first of four Premier League Golden Glove Awards with a record 24 clean sheets. Cech lifted the Premier League title trophy four times and became the first premier league goalkeeper to break through 200 clean sheets.

Cech ended his career at Arsenal and held the Premier League goalkeeper record of 202 clean sheets.
