Oklink said that the stolen BAYC #3738 has been sold, the hacker address is "0xe34F004BDef6F069b92dc299587D6c8A731072Da", the address has been MARKED WITH "Phishing" by OKLink, and the follow-up will monitor its changes in real time 7x24 hours.
After being stolen, the NFT was changed hands several times. The attackers eventually sold the stolen NFTs on LooksRare and OpenSea, earning about 169.6 ETH.
Since last year, NFT projects have exploded, projects have emerged, according to the data of the master of the Ouke cloud chain chain, as of now, there are 336 overseas NFT projects included.
This is not the first time an NFT theft has occurred, and on March 3, the TreasureDAO code vulnerability caused more than 100 NFTs in its market, with a total value of more than $1.4 million. On February 1, a major NFT collector, Larrylawliet.eth, said on social media that a number of valuable NFT collections such as BAYC, MAYC and Doodles NFT were stolen by hackers.
The bayc involved in the theft was launched on April 30, 2021, consisting of 10,000 ape NFTs with different characteristics and attributes, priced at about $200 a piece when it was online, sold out online, and the subsequent price soared, DappRadar data shows that as of now, in secondary market transactions, the total sales of the Boring Ape NFT project exceeded $1 billion, and the total market value exceeded $3.5 billion.
The domestic NFT market is also very hot. Tencent, Ali, Station B, NetEase and other Internet manufacturers have entered.
The mainland issued a document to clarify that virtual currency-related business activities are illegal financial activities, the current overseas market NFTs are directly or indirectly linked to virtual currencies, Ouke Cloud Chain Research Institute pointed out that the financialization attributes of NFT products are distinct, and there are compliance problems in China.
"At present, the domestic digital collection is still very different from the foreign NFT", Ouke Cloud Chain Research Institute said, the domestic "digital collection" is mostly based on the development of the alliance chain, paying more attention to the combination with the real economy, avoiding excessive derealization to virtuality, and clearly restricting its transaction circulation links; while foreign NFTs take the public chain as the underlying network, the market is more free and open, the product types are relatively diverse, and the market scale is rising rapidly, but the speculation situation is also more serious.
