E3 2022 has now been completely cancelled Neither offline nor online exhibitions will exist

After previously canceling the E3 2022 offline event, the organizers ESA now informs their partners that there are no digital online events this year, which means that E3 2022 is now fully canceled. The reason is also because of the potential risk of the epidemic.

The message came from a tweet from Razer PR leader Will Powers, who said he received the email and was told that the E3 digital campaign was canceled. IGN also verified the authenticity of the email through its own channels.

ESA was originally scheduled to host an offline E3 event this year, after E3 2020 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and held an online event in 2021. However, in January this year, the offline E3 exhibition was cancelled, when the ESA said it could not confirm whether there would be an online display. At the time, according to IGN sources, discussions around E3 have been intense this year, with third parties often finding that the ESA has been silent about their plans.

Sources associated with the campaign told IGN that they have been discussing a possible online campaign since then, but there is no strong momentum to drive ESA. Instead, the ESA appears to be working on plans for a "massive comeback" in 2023.
