The minutes of the meeting show that BYD Han DM-i sales orders are good after the listing, and the follow-up is expected to sell more than 30,000 Han series units in a single month. BYD said that the current growth trend of raw material prices has slowed down, and if the price of lithium carbonate remains at its current price, it will not have much impact on the sales of new energy vehicles this year. BYD expects that the penetration rate of new energy vehicles will exceed 35% for the whole year, and may reach 40%.

And recently, BYD released its 2021 annual performance report. According to the financial report, BYD achieved operating income of 216.142 billion yuan in 2021, an increase of 38.02% year-on-year.

Among them, the revenue of automobiles, automobile-related products and other products was about RMB112.489 billion, an increase of 33.93% year-on-year. Revenue from the mobile phone components, assembly and other products business was approximately RMB86,454 million, representing an increase of 43.99% year-on-year. Revenue from the rechargeable battery and photovoltaic business was approximately RMB16.471 billion, up 36.27% year-on-year.

The three major businesses accounted for 52.04%, 40.00% and 7.62% of the Group's total revenue respectively.

In 2021, BYD's cumulative sales of passenger cars reached 730,000 units, up 75.4% year-on-year. Among them, the sales volume of new energy vehicles accounted for more than 80% of total sales, reaching 593745. Cumulative sales of EV (all-electric) models and DM (hybrid) models reached 320,000 units and 270,000 units, respectively, up 144.9% and 467.6% year-on-year. Under the strong performance, BYD's share in the new energy vehicle market soared to 17.1%, an increase of nearly 8% during the year.

For the future, BYD said that it will continue to be committed to the breakthrough innovation of new energy vehicle technology and the application and promotion of products, and actively promote the industrial transformation of traditional vehicles to new energy vehicles.

In the future, BYD will promote the all-round expansion of new energy vehicles through the "7+4" strategy, and extend the application scope of new energy vehicles from private cars, buses and taxis to conventional fields such as sanitation vehicles, urban commodity logistics, road passenger transportation and urban construction logistics, and four special fields such as warehousing, mining, ports and airports, so as to achieve full coverage of new energy vehicles for road transportation.
