VR game studio Cloudhead recently revealed in an article celebrating its 9th anniversary that they have begun the development of next-generation VR games, and hinted that it may be an AAA big production that will have a "deeper vision and vision" compared to previous works.
While there is no other information about these new games yet, Cloudhead Games believes it has reached AAA and will expand its team in the coming weeks and months. The studio also pledged to continue working on "crazy experimentation, innovative ideas, and (closely) focused on the future of XR through its Cloudhead Labs division."
It is understood that Cloudhead Games has just celebrated its 9th anniversary in March this year, it is the developer of the VR rhythm game "PistolWhip", and it has also previously developed the gesture interaction demo game "ApertureHandLab" for ValveIndex.
It is worth mentioning that Cloudhead Games pointed out that PistolWhip continues to be popular with players, players have posted scores more than 2.5 million times on more than 100,000 charts, and PistolWhip will receive mod support at some point in the future to encourage community players to create original levels for the game.
