Reddit forum user "1000-7" noted that BioShock: Infinity received its 9th update this month, according to SteamDB data, which he believes is related to the game's next-generation patch. In fact, since September 21, 2021, the game has received an average of 9 updates per month (5 in September 2021), and this number has slowly increased since then, with 14 updates for Resident Evil Infinity alone in March 2022 alone.

While some of these updates are very small, others look very important, which is unusual for a game released nearly 10 years ago. It's worth noting that the same thing happened before the game logged into Switch.

In the comments section of the post this sparked various conjectures among players. We'll have to wait a while to see if these updates make sense. So far, there is no relevant news from 2K officials.
