The player base is so great that someone recently discovered some new documents in the Elden Ring that suggest that the game once had an orc design.
The files were discovered by Twitter user Jester Patches, who wrote: "Through the Eldon Ring of Law documents, I found icons that led me to believe that orcs were planned at some point in the game. "
The user went on to say, "There are 128 icons displaying different NPCs, and each displayed NPC has two icon versions, one gray and the other transparent. "
To match their findings, JesterPatches attached several snapshots depicted by these icons, which mentioned Caelid Dog, Caelid Crow, and Pigeon as their favorites.
For Eldon's Ring of Law, the orcs in the game are sure to be an interesting piece of content. After all, the game has a large number of animal communities for players to enjoy.
However, this particular orc is not confined to animals, it actually seems to encompass everything from ordinary soldiers to divine skins.
JesterPatches also said that of those 64 icons, there are several icons that they "don't recognize at all," perhaps hinting at more hidden content.
