Qian Xiaoping, director of the Ancient Silk Reproduction Research Institute, a national-level silk expert with outstanding contributions, the inventor of the second generation of artificial blood vessels, the founder of Suzhou Silk Museum, a deputy to the Third National People's Congress, and the national inheritor of Song brocade weaving skills.

Suzhou Qian Xiaoping Ancient Silk Reproduction Research Institute was established in 2006, formerly known as "China Silk Weaving and Embroidery Cultural Relics Reproduction Center". "China Silk Weaving and Embroidery Cultural Relics Reproduction Center" was established in 1996, under the leadership of Qian Xiaoping, successfully copied more than 20 precious silk cultural relics such as the pre-Qin, Lianghan, Sui, Tang, Ming and Qing dynasties, and won the third prize and the first prize of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage respectively. In 2008, the Publicity Department of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee, the Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture and Guangdong and other five units jointly awarded the "Qian Xiaoping Song Brocade Weaving Skills Master Studio", aiming to continue to excavate, protect and inherit traditional silk culture and skills - especially the traditional Song brocade weaving skills that are on the verge of being lost.

Qian Xiaoping, the director of the institute, is a national inheritor of Song brocade weaving skills. Since its establishment, Qian Xiaoping Ancient Silk Reproduction Research Institute has successfully copied and created song jin works such as "Northern Song Dynasty Spirit Vulture Ball Road Pattern Brocade", "Ming Hongdi Swastika Peony Ruyi Song Jin", "Qing Ling Ge Sihe Ruyi Jin", "Song Jin Thangka" and Song Jin "Western Elysium" and other Song Jin works, which have been collected by the Okaya Municipal Silk Museum in Gunma County, Japan, the China Yunjin Museum, the China Silk Archive, the China Silk Museum and the Suzhou Silk Museum. At the same time, he has participated in various intangible cultural heritage exhibitions for many times and has received praise. In particular, Song Jin, the "Western Elysium World" that has been successfully researched and woven for six years, is the pinnacle of Song Brocade weaving skills.
