The "Pingding Western Regions Sacrifice Ceremony Map" is 18.65 meters long, with more than 8,000 figures in the whole picture, depicted in detail, bright and full of colors, and is a representative work of documentary painting of the Qing Dynasty court in the Qianlong period. The "captive offering ceremony" belongs to the military ceremony of the Qing Palace, which was also held in the Kangxi Dynasty of Shengzu and the Yongzheng Dynasty of Sejong, but it is only found in written records and no images have been circulated, so Xu Yang's figure is of extraordinary significance, with both artistic value and historical value.
