Poems for my daughter

Poems for my daughter

Zhang Hong's "Wild Nest Poetry Draft".

In the long years of pre-modern times, a standard father image is best to be strict and kind; second-class, harsh as Jia Zheng, still does not lose the father's system; if the father's love is overflowing and pampered, it is regarded as out of the ordinary, and even needs to bear heavy public opinion pressure - traditional ethics do not encourage the downward expression of emotions of the superior, "pity" is equivalent to "no husband". Zi Xia wept for his dead son, which caused Zeng to be angry and scolded; after Wang Rong lost his son, he was "overwhelmed by sorrow", which was puzzled by Shan Jian. Compared with father and son, father-daughter love is even more bleak in the emotional spectrum – this is not to say that the ancients who did not study the "Montessori Education Method" were indifferent, and I believe that when I look at my daughter's innocent smile, the sweetness that comes to my heart is no different. It's just that the time is unfavorable, and there is not enough room to place this dilemma of fatherly love.

Looking at the history of poetry, it is not uncommon for people to write about their daughters, and well-known literary figures can point out a long list of names such as Li Qinglian, Du Shaoling, Han Changli, Li Yishan, Wang Jiefu, Tang Ruoshi, Qu Wengshan, Huang Zhongze, Gong Ding'an, and so on. Frustrated in the middle, the daughter is the comfort of the softness of the mountains and waters; when she is a guest, the daughter is a new thought every day. The timid daughter followed the "old wife" and "childish son", and became another text mixed with joy, pity, and guilt, becoming a footnote to the poet's dismal career.

The Western Jin Dynasty Zuosi's "Poetry of a Woman" should be counted as the first "poem written to the daughter" in the true sense. Nearly 300 words throughout, such as the father holding a family camera to record the funny daily life of the two daughters, Lu Su and Hui Fang. From the study to the kitchen stove, from indoors to outdoors, they soiled their clothes and messed up the furnishings at home - today I am afraid to be classified as a "mother to fight" bear children, but at that time it was a rare and healthy untamed. Mingren Zhong's evaluation was the most pertinent: "There is no need to say that the description of the game is childish... They are all adult serious affairs, intricately interspersed, but the wonderful thing is that they are not detailed, not old, indeed, not idle, and the words are petite, not adults. And the daughter is smart, the parents are reserved, and the pen is outside the words, which can be seen and thought. "Qi Wei" such as Zuo Si, born today, presumably a member of the circle of friends.

"The Poetry of the Woman" opens the beginning of writing the daughter in a five-word narrative. Under a thousand years, the poem with the same title composed by Wang Shizhen is simple and truly concise, but it has a kind and affectionate taste: "A delicate woman has a good posture and does not charm others." Amu hand hairpin flowers, flowers thrown away in the land. It is not easy to be a woman and a woman. The old father's worries are very real, and the literal translation is: "Being a daughter in front of your parents is used to you, and you will not be able to come to someone else's house as a daughter-in-law" - just like today's parents. In the late Qing Dynasty, two fathers who came into contact with modern educational concepts because of "opening their eyes to see the world", wrote a new style of women's poems. Zhang Hong (1867-1941), a native of Changshu, Jiangsu Province, was a Jinshi of Guangxujian and a member of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In his early years, he accepted the idea of democracy and progress, and founded the "Women's World" magazine with Zeng Pu and others, advocating women's rights and "restoring the heavenly feet" for his daughter Zhang Sen to set an example. After entering the Republic of China, he served as the consuls of Nagasaki, Kobe, and Incheon of Korea, and after his return, he devoted himself to education, and once built a "Bitter Children's Garden" in Yanyuan Garden to help orphans and children. Zhang Hong also has a "Petite Woman's Poem", which is warm and moving, which has not been seen in previous literary history:

Asen is a delicate woman, and the beauty is matchless. When the teeth learn to speak, it is known to be a pro-book. In the year of the serpent, Ye Bei marched, and wanted to stutter. I hung on the oyster wall, dumb and dumb. Ye returned to his arms, far from turning to affection... Last year, I was still home, and I caught a glimpse of my hair hanging down. They played together in front of the hall, and the weak brother came in and out with him. Chen Shu asked for strange words, and licked the ink to make a soft pen. Cut paper for flowers and birds, buy bottles of Tibetan crickets. The conductor is like an adult, and the maid does not dare to ignore it. The elder saw Asen and caressed the cloud fairy bones. The lesser ones see Asen, dear nephews and nephews. My mother loved Asen and slept in the same room. My sister loves Asen and is a witty pawn. My brother loves Asen and reads to supervise the rate. When to come to Yahweh, kiss and be Mu Qi. Send words to Assen, and be cautious not to be sick. Yi Han plus Wu Mian, bait to avoid cliff honey. Shi cheng sent Asen, and the dream has flown over.

Wang Shouchang (1864-1926) of the Min dynasty is a typical example of another new father of the same period. At the age of fourteen, Shouchang entered the Fuzhou Mawei Ship Politics School, and went to study at the University of Paris in France in the weak year. After returning to China, he successively served as a French teacher at the Mawei Ship Politics School, an interpreter for the Tianjin Foreign Affairs Bureau, the general office of the Hanyang Arsenal of Hubei Negotiation, and the director of the Fujian Provincial Negotiation Department. Lin Shu wrote the "Testament of the Traviata of Paris" as a widow, and was known as the translator Shi Qitan, but in fact, the person who interpreted "La Traviata" by the Lin clan was Wang Shouchang, a friend who was proficient in French. Among the eight sons and four daughters of Shouchang, the three queens Zhen and Ji Queen are the most famous. When He Zhendai, the elder of Fuzhou Literature, set up a tent in the township, taught apprentices without distinction between men and women, and had the eyes of "eight talented women" and "ten sisters" under the door, Wang Zhen and Wang Xian were among the leaders, from the perspective of educational experience and social activities, they were close to the new women in the modern sense. Shou Chang's poem "Shuzhen and Idle Second Daughter" lyrically describes the enlightened family style: "My family is true and idle, and the endowment is quite peculiar. Never pay attention to the needle and thread, but the ink. Even when it comes to marriage, anger is all over the place", followed by the answer of the two girls: "It is said that the father loves his daughter, and it is too urgent to drive him away!" The married woman is not a talent, and there is no thief. Look at the ancient and modern, men and women are against each other? The venerable man was in the heavens, bowing to his egg wings. Soft and brittle, likes and dislikes are followed by others... The child wants to oppose the ancients and seek to support himself. The female red is very stubborn and cannot afford to be offered day and night. To be able to be good at high art, Ling Xiao is long and energetic. Don't close the cage, the cage is suppressed! In order to achieve the ideal of self-reliance, they "quietly rose in the night and recited silently." Reading tiredness and false sleep, and clothes do not take off", to "the flesh and gas are darkly consumed, and the face is thin". Shou Chang was distressed and helpless, so he had to "admonish and blame", no matter what happens to you two in the future, health and peace will be good- "Dongpo wishes to be foolish and looks forward to high official positions." I wish to give birth to a foolish daughter, and to have no sickness. Wang Zhen, who was regarded by people at the time as "Haojie among women", worked hard to learn, never married, and showed off his generation for the eight Mincai girls.

The father-daughter interaction scene in the ancient poems has attracted my special attention, and occasionally I find that it is as precious as Yoshimitsu Katayu. Two examples of this move: the Ming Dynasty scribe Cheng Minzheng (1446-1499) had two daughters, and the second daughter, Yue Xian, was born at the age of thirty-nine. People have passed middle age, after saying goodbye to their relatives and dying, and the eunuch sea is floating and sinking, judging from the verses of "the milk wife relieves the shock and bones, and the kind relatives win a smile and a smile" and "May the child live forever from now on, and a green silk will lead to old age", he loves his little daughter more than usual. "The Little Girl After the Rain" depicts a beautiful late spring scene: "The patio has no sand and water, and a tree of pomegranates is red." The girl learned to be surprised, and several petals of rouge fell into the mirror. "The Moon Immortal of the Year of Learning Language has already revealed her sensitivity in her childish state. Unfortunately, god did not fulfill people's wishes, time is the most difficult to calm down, Hongzhi Pengshen (1488) winter, overseeing the imperial history of Wang Song for a long time without rain, impeached Cheng Minzheng, who was then an attendant of the Hanlin Academy, and issued an edict to Shi. Min Zheng returned to the south with his family, and the five-year-old Yue Xian lost his care due to the fatigue of the boat and car, and became weaker and weaker, and died of smallpox the following year. "Moon Immortal... If he is not born in the world, then his father will do the same! At the end of the "Female Moon Immortal Inscription" is a father's heartfelt confession.

Huang Zunxian (1848-1905), the new leader of the poetry culture in the late Qing Dynasty, had a seven-law inscription called "Little Girl", which recorded a small family teaching activity with his second daughter Dangsun: "A group of lights sits and talks, and the curtain is hidden deeply." The little girl struggled to ask questions, and Ah Niang did not say a word and pulled her clothes. The sun must be lifting its head close, how can the sea be as surrounded by two hands? To show the map of the earth to point out, the night lantern wind curtain fell on Ewe. According to Qian Zhonglian's "Notes on the Grass Notes on the Poetry of the People's Realm", this article should have been written in Guangxu Dinghai (1887), when He was twelve years old, which was the age when the worldview was ignorant and the curiosity was strong. Although the poem uses the Jin Ming Emperor's "Day Near Chang'an Yuan" dictionary, it actually refers to the advanced scientific knowledge introduced with the strong wind of "learning from the West and gradually learning from the East". The picture is frozen at the moment when Dangsun unfolds the map, and does not say the following, but we can imagine that the old father who has just written the "Chronicle of Japan" and has a stomach full of knowledge and knowledge is rubbing his fists and preparing a feast of knowledge for his daughter. Hundreds of years later, every parent today suffers from tutoring their children's homework, to the point of attacking the heart and causing illness and hospitalization, I don't know what this poem is like?
