Former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson said that if he were to play against internet celebrity boxer Jack Paul, it would take a $1 billion appearance fee to be possible.
The last time Tyson, 55, put on a boxing holster was during an exhibition match in late November 2020, when he played an eight-legged exhibition match against former superstar Roy Jones Jr.
Early last year, rumors spread about Tyson's three-game match against old rival Hollyfield, with Tyson biting his ear in his second match in 1997. The two men's three-pronged negotiations reportedly broke down over pay issues.
Tyson also claimed he would play former heavyweight undisputed boxing champion Lennox Lewis in September, but those plans also failed.
Tyson has been talking about the match against Paul, whose strength has recently soared, and Tyson now has a 5-0 boxing record after beating MMA champion Ben Askron twice in 2021 after beating former UFC welterweight champion Tyrone Woodley twice.
