Recently, a screenshot of the internal document "2022 Tang EV model withholding and raising price" circulated on the Internet, which indicates the price of two Tang EV models: 300,000 yuan for the 730km flagship model and 340,000 yuan for the 635km four-wheel drive premium model. Later, after we verified, BYD insiders said that the model information on the screenshot is basically true, but the exact price will not be revealed until the new car is listed. It is reported that the pre-sale will be opened at the end of March this year and will be listed in late April.
In terms of appearance, according to the unconmouflaged spy photos we previously reported, the new car has modified the shape of the bumper and added a bright silver decorative strip at the closed net. Compared to the front of the car, the side changes are minimal, and only the more aerodynamic wheels are replaced. The change in the shape of the rear bumper echoes the front of the car. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car reached 4900*1950*1725mm, and the wheelbase reached 2820mm.
In terms of interior, from the trailer, the 6-seater version of the model not only adds a central passage, but also is equipped with independent seat armrests. In addition, the new car is also equipped with color-block punched leather seats with diamond-shaped stitching, and the high-end model may add adjustable aviation headrests. In addition, the 7-seat version will continue to be supplied after the launch of the new model.
In terms of power and endurance, the 2022 Don EV provides two power options. Among them, the single-motor version has a maximum power of 180kW (245 hp) and a maximum torque of 330Nm; the dual-motor version has a maximum power of 380kW (517 hp) and a maximum torque of 680Nm.
