The notebook welcomes 24 boxes: the first exposure of three new U models of the Intel 12th generation

In addition to the four series of H45, P28, U15 and U9, Intel has also prepared a new HX55 series of 12th generation Core processors for the top game book, up to 8 large, 8 small, 16 cores and 24 threads.

We have seen the series of i9-12900HX, i7-12650HX, and now three new products have popped up, which have appeared in GeekBench 5, all from Lenovo devices.

The first is the true flagship i9-12950HX, 16 cores and 24 threads, 6MB L2 cache, 30MB L3 cache, and the frequency detected so far is the benchmark 2.5GHz, turbo plus up to 4.9GHz.

At first glance, the CPU part looks exactly the same as the i9-12900HX, but one may have other differences, and the second is that GeekBench 5's turbo frequency detection is often inaccurate, and it may be able to soar to 5GHz.

It is followed by the i7-12850HX, which is also a 16-core 24-thread, but the L2 and L3 caches are reduced to 3.75MB and 25MB, and the detection frequency is 2.5-4.7GHz.

Finally, there is the i5-12600HX, 6 large 8 small 14 cores 20 threads, L2 cache 4MB, L3 cache 18MB, detection frequency 2.8-4.6GHz.

In terms of nuclear display, all three of them have only 32 units, in fact, the entire HX45 tin class is the same, which is equivalent to only one-third of the highest level of the H45 series.

This is true, after all, this U will definitely be paired with a unique display.

In terms of performance, the i9-12950HX single-core and multi-core are obviously out of order, not as good as the i9-12900H, obviously not playing their full strength.

The i7-12850HX single-core lags 9.4 percent behind the i9-12900H and 18.6 percent ahead of the Ryzen 9 6900HX with multiple cores.

Now, the geekBench 5 single/multi-core list is almost at the top of the Intel 12th generation Core.
