Leshan Pavilion is located in the middle of Helukou Town, Jianghua Yao Autonomous County, Hunan, close to National Highway 207. It is 9.3 meters long, 5.8 meters high and 5.6 meters wide, all made of blue stone, and was built during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty. The east and west walls are embedded with stone tablets of the names of village donors and heads of associations, and the north and south are three-story archway arches.
Inside there are four eight-sided stone pillars, on which are carved couplets, and the door reliefs of Nezha Noisy Sea, Qin Shubao swinging whip, Guan Gong playing with a big knife, Wu Song fighting tigers, Mu Guiying hanging commander, Jiang Taigong fishing and other dramatic figures and unicorns, phoenixes, cranes and other beasts and birds. The dragon gate fang carved double lions to grab the ball, the dragon gate plate is vertically engraved "Leshan Pavilion", and the two sides are carved with heavenly officials to bless. The two heavenly officials held official seals in their hands and looked kind. Beam relief on the third floor double dragon playing with flame beads. In the middle of the roof, there is a treasure gourd, flanked by fish, and the tail of the fish is upturned. The angle of the cornice bending of the two-story building is the same, which has become a three-dimensional space art.
The theme of Leshan Pavilion is carved by Tianguan Blessing in line with the name of the pavilion, and the various patterns carved are exquisite and the content is popular, reflecting the high level and skill of folk art at that time. The couplets carved on the pavilion and the stone pillars write the hardships and homesickness of pedestrians wandering, and the scenes are blended.
