The 30th Anniversary Edition of the Ford Explorer was released at a price of 339,800 yuan and was limited to 600 units
Today, the Explorer 30th Anniversary Edition is released.
The Ford Explorer debuted in March 1990, so the thirtieth anniversary special event is still a bit late.
The new car is based on the 2020 Explorer and has two colors of body trim, Greenland White and Seychelles Black.
Its exclusive kit includes a red mirror cover, red fog light frame strip, black platinum grille, black bumper underbody and lower skid plate, black hub + black 20" rim, black door edge strips and trims, two-tone Explorer logo, red draws on the lower half of the door trim strip, special edition badges on the front and tail doors, luminous welcome pedals, electric foot pedals (with Explorer), YAKIMA roof crossbar + footrest and YAKIMA roof rack.
In terms of appearance, many details of the body are decorated with red accents to enhance the visual effect; the intake grille is decorated similar to the scales of armor, and the grille as a whole is painted in black. The bottom of the car is a trapezoidal grille, which looks very layered. It is also equipped with a very eye-catching roof rack and exposed black pedals, which make the new car more "Spartan warrior and adventure" atmosphere.
At the same time, the red exterior mirrors, the red trim at the side skirt, and the "WARRIOR" text under the front door all highlight its distinctive identity.
The interior is the same as the current Explorer 4WD Fashion Edition.
In terms of power, it is expected to be the same as the current model, equipped with a 2.3T four-cylinder turbocharged engine, matching the 10-speed automatic transmission. The maximum output power is 206 kW and the peak torque of 425 N·m can be generated.
