A few days ago, the driving line of sight obtained from the Roewe official to its compact SUV - the official model of the new Roewe RX5. It is understood that the new Roewe RX5 will be unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show, which opens in April, and will be listed as soon as the second quarter.
In terms of appearance, the new RX5 adopts a new design language, the front grille presents an hourglass shape, the interior is a dot matrix element, officially called the Star Flare Dragon Scale Element, and the matrix LED headlights above the grille are almost integrated with the hourglass grille. Compared with the current model, the new RX5 is more radical in design, and the design language has also ushered in a major innovation.
On the side of the body, the new RX5 offers a segmented waistline with a more rounded line, concealed door handles and petal five-width rims. In terms of dimensions, the new car has a length, width and height of 4655/1890/1655 (1664) mm and a wheelbase of 2765 mm.
At the rear, the new RX5 provides through-type taillights, and at both ends are C-shaped strips composed of triangular elements, which are more recognizable, and bilateral double exhaust gases are also provided below the tail.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 1.5T engine with a model of 15FDE produced by SAIC Motor Group Co., Ltd. with a maximum power of 188 horsepower (138 kW). In terms of transmission, the new car is mated to a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.
