Incredibly, on the night of March 15, local time, a lumberjack spotted the two boys. At the time, the boys were nearly 4 miles (about 6.4 kilometers) from home. The boys screamed at the sound of chainsaws, and the lumberjack followed the sound to spot them. At that time, the two brothers were lying on the ground, with yellow muscles and thin muscles, and there were abrasions on the skin, and the situation was very bad.
Afterwards, volunteers took the two boys to the docks by boat and ambulances took them to the hospital. The brothers suffered severe malnutrition, dehydration and skin abrasions.
