In his early years, he grew up in the Group's Internet Business Unit.

It is reported that as early as 2003, he served as the deputy director of the business management department of the Internet business department of China Telecom, when the telecommunications industry was affected by the Internet, the development of fixed network business was limited, and it was necessary to develop new services to enhance profits, and Zhang Yufeng, as the deputy director of the business management department of the telecom Internet business department, was mainly responsible for the company's fixed-line value-added market.
