Renmin Road runs through the east and west of Xiangzhou City, is one of the most important main roads in the city, at present, the morning and evening travel peak traffic pressure is greater. According to the construction plan, the Xianghai Bridge strives to open to traffic within this year, and the West Renmin Road and the Xianghai Bridge Branch Line intersect, when the west can reach DoumenhuXin Road, the north can reach the Western Coastal Expressway Tanzhou Toll Station, plus the Jinqin Express Line connecting Tangjiawan and Nanwan areas, there will be more buses in the city to converge on Renmin West Road.
Since last year, Zhuhai has promoted the Renmin Road Rapid Upgrading (Pedestrian Bridge Part) project, setting up three pedestrian bridges next to the Anjuyuan Bus Station, the Hongshan Bus Station and the Industrial and Commercial Building. After the completion of the project, 3 flat crossing street signal lights can be cancelled to improve the efficiency of People's Road traffic. Among them, the Anjuyuan Bus Station Flyover has been opened this month, and two other overpasses will be completed.

In addition, in response to the problem of the intersection of Renmin West Road and Mingzhu Road, the construction of the Mingzhu Road cross-line bridge has been approved. Through the construction of bridges, the project will guide the traffic flow of Renmin West Road to quickly enter the branch line of Xianghai Bridge under the traffic lights, and achieve the goal of separating from the traffic flow of Mingzhu Road.

It is understood that in addition to the 3 crossing signal lights that will be cancelled, within the range of about 4.7 kilometers from Mingzhu Road in the west to Bauhinia Road in the east, the whole straight road still needs to pass through 5 intersection signal lights, including SantaiShi Road and Hongshan Road. These are the nodes where subsequent rapid transformations may be promoted.

At present, the realization of rapid traffic mainly includes: the construction of viaducts in the east-west direction of the whole line, the continued addition of pedestrian bridges, the construction of tunnel three-dimensional transformation of vehicles at intersections such as Santaishi Road, and the three-dimensional transformation of cross-line bridges at intersections such as Three Stone Roads.
