Henrik Stenson has been elected Captain of the 2023 Ryder Cup European Team!

Sweden's Sternson, who will turn 46 next month, has won six PGA Tour wins and 11 DP World Tour titles in his career, including a Grand Slam at the 2016 British Open.
He will lead the European team to the Maximemoni Golf and Country Club in Rome, Italy, in 2023 with the United States led by Captain Zach Johnson, in an effort to regain the Ryder Cup victory. Last year, Stenson was one of the vice-captains of the 2020 Ryder Cup European team, and in the past Ryder Cup, he played as a player in three of the five times.
