Seeger was selected in the third round of the 2009 Draft, and two years later in the major leagues, becoming the team's favorite third baseman, contributing all of his 11-year career to Seattle. He was fourth in team history with 1,395 hits, 242 hits and 807 RBIs; third in team history with 309 second-base hits; and fifth among team batters with 36.9 WAR.

To thank the veteran for his years of contributions, Mariners president John Stanton issued a statement congratulating him and bluntly stating that Seeger has a place in mariners history, alongside legends such as Ken Griffey, Jr., Ichiro Suzuki and Edgar Martinez. 'Even though the lineup fluctuates, teammates and coaches just know that Kyle plays every night, that he will do everything he can, that his role model and passion have influenced an entire generation of Sailors."

Although he was unable to break into the playoffs with the Mariners in the end, kyle Seeger's spirit still led the team, let us wish him a happy retirement, I believe that one day, he will be with Little Griffy, Suzuki Ichiro and other celebrities, to witness the moment when Seattle hits the playoffs.
